I'm Still In Here!

I feel like I've been lost in the piles of giveaways and picture posts!
I just wanted to let you all know that Amy, the person, is still here and doing alright.

Around our home, Alex seems to be growing like a little weed and is really developing a strange sense of humor. He laughs at the silliest things and sometimes laughs at nothing at all (from what I can tell). He's really, REALLY trying to form words. My favorite word to hear is "w..............hAT?" It makes me laugh every time he says it and kind of reminds me of the days I worked in a music store and listened to Lil' John. (Hey! No poking fun, here! I really liked rap music when I was a clubbin' fool. Plus, Dave Chapelle did this great impersonation of Lil' John.)

Other than that, I've been going to my classes on Monday and Tuesday evenings. I think this semester will be fairly simple. I'm just hoping that anyone I work with in a group project actually enjoys working for their grade like I do. I don't know why, but there's always at least one person who doesn't do anything or spends their time complaining rather than working. This really irritates me but I'm willing to put the past behind me and focus on this semester's group work.

I've been working very hard at connecting with the right people to bring you reviews and giveaways on some pretty neat things. There are some GREAT giveaways in your future.

I also haven't forgot about my "real people" articles. I've actually just stumbled on a blog that I'll be writing on and sharing with you soon. We can't forget those less fortunate.

Please be praying for the victims of "Ike". I have a couple blogging buddies who are stuck in the midst of it all and I pray they're alright. These storms are terrible! God, help those families and individuals. Bring peace to the chaos.
