My Plate-Mate (review and giveaway)

Here is a fantastic idea for those parents who are trying to help their child master using utensils while encouraging their autonomy (the "I do it" syndrome).   The My Plate-Mate hooks right on to any 8-9 1/2 inch plate and guards the side so food doesn't get pushed off. You can even use it in a restaurant.

The My Plate-Mate is made in the U.S.A., is made of FDA approved food grade plastic. It's BPA free and dishwasher safe.

This wonderful helper comes in 3 colors and it retails for only $7.95.

Here's a little info from the press pack:

My Plate-Mate is a first of its kind toddler product geared to make life and meal times easier for families.  As a learning tool, My Plate-Mate’s unique design helps little ones successfully scoop food onto their utensil with ease.  This promotes independence and minimizes frustrations for youngsters trying to master self-feeding.  As a spill guard, My Plate-Mate prevents food from falling off the plate while a child eats.  Parents love that there is less of a mess to clean-up from the table and floor after meals.  Plus there is less food wasted.  Since My Plate-Mate fits onto any 8” – 9 ½” round plate, it is versatile to use anywhere.  My Plate-Mate is recommended to be used by toddlers and can continue to help the messiest of eaters through the age of 6.
