T.U.F.F.O. Muddy Buddy (review)

Maybe you have an adventurous child. Perhaps you're lucky enough to live in a 4-season state where the seasons switch as they please. (In Michigan, the weather is all over the map all year-round.)
Thanks to Tuffo., you can send your child out with confidence that you've got them covered.

On this cold, wet day, we headed to the pumpkin patch...the muddy pumpkin patch.  Alex was all bundled up and easily fit right into this Muddy Buddy. If I would have remembered his boots, he would have literally been covered from head to toe.

See the 2 zippers? That makes getting in and out of the Muddy Buddy very easy.  It has elastic around each wrist and ankle to make sure your little one stays clean. The Muddy Buddy is made out of waterproof material which is lightweight and breathable.

I would highly recommend this over a raincoat any day. It's easy to use and even easy to store. The Muddy Buddy comes in a cool, waterproof, zippered pouch that will fit in a drawer or closet easily.

Tuffo. also recommends using the Muddy Buddy indoors for art projects. When I read that, I thought, "Yes! Why didn't I think of that?" It would definitely keep the mess off of clothes. Maybe Alex can wear his when he helps me make my yearly batch of Christmas cookies.  *that's a really good idea, come to think of it.*

Anyway, this is a product that gets my stamp of approval for sure. I'm so happy that we have one (especially in this wet, fall weather). Now we don't need a dry, sunny day to go outside and play. Alex can roll around in soaking wet leaves and never get his clothes wet.

Here's some info from the website about how Tuffo. came to be:

I grew up in Cape Town, South Africa before moving to the USA. The lifestyle there was active, physical and for the most part outdoors. By taking advantage of this lifestyle on both continents, I have developed a strong appreciation for nature and the outdoors. A natural extension of this appreciation was to create a line of products, hence the establishment of Tuffo in 1999.
Our goal at Tuffo, is to continuously develop a line of non-technical outdoor and recreational products. Our products are geared towards the outdoor enthusiast who is looking for a quality product at a reasonable price.
By utilizing durable materials and quality manufacturing techniques, we guarantee many years of enjoyment from our products.

 Here's to clean, dry children!
