Natural Mat is a company that has been around for 6 years. During that time, they have only made 100% natural, organic mattresses in sizes ranging from a changing table pad to a twin. There are 3 different types of mattress available; Coco Mattress, Latex Mattress, and Mohair Mattress.
Of the 3 available, I was sent a small sample a small part of the Latex Mattress.
This sample was rather neat as it allowed me to see the outside as well as the inside.
The layers of the mattress are (from the top, down)
- lambs wool
- organic coir
- natural latex foam
This is actually the most supportive and hypo-allergenic mattress sold from Natural Mat. When I taking the pictures for this post, I realized how comfortable yet firm this mattress is. It would be the most comfortable thing for any baby to lay on. (I wish they made a queen size mattress but I can’t even begin to imagine what that would cost).
