Sur La Table (Review)

 

If you’ve never been inside a Sur la table store, you are missing out on quite an experience. This store sells everything you could need to prepare the perfect meal along with serving dishes, items for baking, and even some yummy food items. Every time I go in the store, I wish I could leave with many, many things.

Beyond things to cook/serve/bake with, Sur la table also sells items for home decor to go with the different seasons.  For the holidays, they have quite a few items that would make the perfect gift. Among these items is a selection of glass ornaments.

For review, I chose these adorable, dessert ornaments to add a little “flavor” to my very traditional Christmas tree.

I’ll begin with the Strawberry Ornaments. There are 2 different ornaments to choose from. You can either choose a strawberry dipped in white chocolate or milk chocolate.

I decided to post my own pictures of these ornaments so you can get an idea of how big they are.

Don’t they look delicious? These ornaments are hand made in Poland and sell for $9.95 a piece.

Personally, I prefer the milk chocolate dipped strawberry but the hubster would much rather have his dipped in white chocolate. ;)

 

Layer Cake anyone? This delicious slice of cake is hand painted and decorated with glitter to really make it sparkle.

This is another ornament that was hand made in Poland. It measures 3” L x 2 1/2” W x 3” H.  This ornament sells for $14.95.

 

 

This picture better shows the detail and gold sparkle on the layer cake ornament. I love how the glitter is even on the bottom of the ornament. I can just picture how it would look against the lights of the Christmas tree.

 

 

This Chocolate Cake Ornament is the perfect gift for the chocolate lover on your list. This yummy ornament is *mine* and will fit nicely in my collection of ornaments of things that make me smile. 

The ornament is hand made and hand painted in Germany and measures 3” L x 1 1/2” W x 1 1/2” H. It sells for $14.95.

This Pink Cupcake Ornament is just exquisite in detail. From the glittered cupcake paper, to the pink frosting, to the red and green rosebud details, this ornament would be a perfect gift for the cupcake lover on your list.  I’ve decided to give this one to the baby girl on the way for a first ornament in her collection of many ornaments to come.
