BEARPAW ~ Live Life Comfortably (review)

When I think about being in a car for a very long time, I immediately think about what shoes I should wear for the trip. I have to wear something comfortable, naturally, but they also need to be able to be put on and take off easily. This rules out tennis shoes right away. And since a road trip means lots of stops at rest areas, I want to wear something that will cover my feet {you never know what you'll run into}. This rules out flip flops or open-toed shoes.

What does that leave me with? Mmmmhm. Sheepskin boots from BEARPAW. They're only the most comfortable things to wear and they make something for everyone in the family.

When the people at BEARPAW heard about our upcoming road trip, they wanted to make sure we traveled comfortably and sent boots for Alex, Eliana, and me. WOW!

For Eliana, they sent the Jasper Infant Pawz in Chestnut Sheepskin.

I've never seen such cushy, comfortable slippers for little feet. Have you? The lining is so fluffy and plush it's like wrapping her little feet in pillows.

The bottom of these are a soft suede. This means that they're extremely flexible but also offer lots of grip should she try to walk in them {which she has been doing a lot of lately}.

Now, I'm not quite sure I can put into words how much Eliana loves her BEARPAW slippers. Every day, she crawls over to the box where they're waiting to be worn for the road. Once she gets her hands on that box, she pulls out her slippers and takes them with her everywhere she goes.

I think she'll be a fan for life.

**Jasper slippers can be bought for around $31 in 2 different colors.

For Alex, BEARPAW sent a pair of Eva 6" Toddler Boots in Chocolate.

I folded down the top of one boot to show the cushy lining.

Alex likes these boots for 2 reasons.

  1. He doesn't have to wear socks when he wears them
  2. They're very comfortable
When I had him try on these boots for the first time, he kept saying "I like these, mommy. I like these!" I laughed and replied, "I know, buddy."

After that, he wore them all over the house. He enjoyed "boot stompin'" around while being as comfortable  as he could be in his Eva Toddler 6" boots. Yep, he's hooked too.

I know he's going to love wearing these on the road. Being they're so easy to slip on and off, he won't have any trouble at all being independent and cozy at the same time.

*And a happy mom tip for you? These are the only shoes Alex has ever owned that can and will be passed down to his sister. Isn't that neat? Spend the money once, get lots and lots of wear out of your purchase {if you're willing to take the time to properly care for them}.

**You can buy Eva Toddler 6" boots for around $50 in 3 different colors.

Finally, BEARPAW sent their Victorian boots in black for me.

Yes, they are lovely to look at and wear. They're about 8.5" tall and work perfectly with both tucked in or rolled up jeans. I've worn them both ways and like both looks. No matter which way I wear them, I know my feet will be warm and comfortable and that's what matters the most.

I'm a sucker for detail but I also want to make sure that the branding of what I'm wearing isn't taking away from the style. Does that make sense? I'm happy to let people know who I'm wearing but I shop for looks and not for names.

As you can see, BEARPAW does a wonderful job tying their name into the detailed places of the boots without taking away from the overall look.

Speaking of "looks", I particularly like how I can change the look of the Victorian boot altogether. All I have to do is fold down the top. Personally, I think this makes a perfect transition from fall to winter.

Totally cute, right?

**The Victorian Boot can be purchased for around $66 in 4 different colors.

So now you know how we'll be keeping cozy on our road trip. And when that's over, we'll get a ton of everyday use out of our boots. We're so grateful to be able to review these.

Now, hop over to BEARPAW, check out their looks, and grab some cozy shoes for you and yours. After that, get social. Check out BEARPAW on Facebook and Twitter to keep up with the latest styles, news, and contests.

**The opinions expressed are mine and mine alone.Others may have a different experience and may not agree with my opinion. Thanks to BEARPAW shoes for the product to review. I was able to keep the items at no cost to me in exchange for an honest review.**
