Oneida At Your Holiday Table (review)

Photobucket

Oneida is a name I've heard for a long time as a trusted brand for flatware. My mom's flatware {that she's owned and used for years} is made by Oneida and after all the use it's gotten, it still looks pretty nice.

I guess I didn't know that Oneida also made Dinnerware, Kitchenware, Drinkware, or even items for little ones to use. Recently, though, I was given a chance to review Oneida's Dinnerware.

I chose from the Culinaria Line. Here's a look at my set!

This is the Chili color with square plates.

We've been able to use it a little and I'm a pretty big fan. I'm not going to lie. We removed our everyday dishes and mixed these in with our Christmas plates for the season. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the square shape but it's perfect for my unique edge. {I often want things that are just a little different than the next person's.}

In my home, I'm a pretty big fan of red accents in our decor. I just love a nice punch of red and these are stunning. Quite honestly, the pictures don't do them justice at all. You really have to see these for yourself.

If you're not a fan of red, there are seven other colors to choose from and you can also choose round over square plates.

Here's Oneida's description:

This Culinaria 16 Piece Service for 4 makes a brilliant statement on your table. A square silhouette gives this set a contemporary flair, while the Restaurant Rolled Edge and finger touch grip provide a pleasing tactile quality along with easy handling.
  • Set Includes 4 Each: Dinner Plates, Salad Plates, Bowls and Mugs
  • Twice fired, Vitrified durable stoneware, glass-like finish
  • Dishwasher and microwave safe
  • Mix and match Culinaria's colors for a unique table presentation

I'll bet you know how important it is that my dishes be dishwasher and microwave safe. As a mom, I'm reliant on those 2 things to help me through the day. To know that my new dishes can look lovely and take a beating as well, allows me to be a little more relaxed about using them in an everyday kind of way. Thanks, Oneida!

Now, while we're on the subject of Christmas plates, I would LOVE to have these.

Snowmates Red Square Dinner Plate/Salad Plate
 And, "Hello!". Is this mug screaming out my name, or what?
Snowmates Red Covered Latte
You don't have to answer that question. I'm pretty sure it is. ;) {tee hee}

Again, there are other patterns available in the Holiday Dinnerware line that may suit you better. Please make sure you stop over to check them out. You may even find a great deal or 2 while you're shopping.

I'm so pleased to be introduced to the other, fabulous items available from Oneida. The hubster and I have already shopped from their flatware and I'm tempted to click around and see what else I can't find.

BUY IT: You can purchase the Oneida Culinaria, Chili Square 16 piece service for 4 at a suggested retail value of $160.

**Thanks to the PR firm who supplied the complimentary, mentioned items to facilitate this review. I wasn't compensated in any other way for this review. In this post I share my thoughts and opinions of the products being reviewed. Others may have a different experience or opinion.**
