Have You Heard of KCupTrade.com? {Review}

I was completely unfamiliar with KCupTrade until I was contacted on Twitter by a rep. We messaged back and forth about the site and I thought the idea behind it was really cool. However, I had no KCups to trade so they generously gave me some credits to shop with.

So how does it work? I'll explain it and share a screenshot tour of my experience to give you an inside look.
The idea is to post the K-Cups you have but don't like {a gift gone wrong, perhaps?} and trade them for the ones you do like. If someone chooses your K-Cups, you get points credited to you which lets you "buy" your favorites from someone else. It doesn't cost you anything to post your K-Cups but you are responsible for shipping {around $2}. And the fun part? Traders can make their own offer on your listing or offer an exchange of their own K-Cups for yours. What an easy way to get rid of that box of K-Cups that's been just sitting there waiting to be used, right? {Visit KCupTrade for the nitty gritty on the details}

So, let's take a look at my own experience. I was given 10 credits and headed onto the trading floor to find something I liked.

Ooh! I found 12 Green Mountain Coffee Breakfast Blend K-Cups for only 10 credits! I didn't waste any time. I clicked on the "Claim Now" button and made sure I didn't miss out on these.

And above, you can see what the screen looked like after I claimed my steal of a deal. I paid only $0.79 out of pocket and only had to wait for my K-Cups to arrive.

I received an email that let me know everything was hunky-dory with my order and was informed that I would receive another email once my order was shipped out. The next day is when I received that email but in that message was also a request that I confirm when I received the K-Cups.

Confirming receipt of the shipment is really important as the sender is waiting for his/her credits so he/she can go ahead and order K-Cups. Here's what that screen looks like. {It's easy, peasy to fill out.}

So there you have it. My K-Cups came before the week was up and I've been enjoying them in the morning. The ease of use on the website convinced me to take any unwanted K-Cups straight to KCupTrade for a switch out. I love having a solution to the "What do I do with these?" question. I hope you'll give it a try or recommend it to a friend!
