Chuggington Interactive Railway {review & giveaway}

If you ever wanted to buy my son a gift that couldn't possibly disappoint, trains and train sets are the way to go. Alex has always been a huge fan of toy trains and is fascinated by real trains as well. Every child has something that holds their focus and for Alex, toy trains would be that "thing".

As a mom, I prefer the quality of items sold by Learning Curve over that of its competitors. Their attention to detail and long life ability can't be matched and I feel these things make the experience with the toys that much more enjoyable and worth the investment. {Alex has items made by Learning Curve that will last long enough to be stored away for his own children!}

One of the new lines from Learning Curve is the Chuggington Interactive Railway. This came to us for review and Alex was beside himself with excitement. Not only is he a fan of the show, but he loves to create his own story lines to play out and this set helps him do that in a very fun way.

 See how excited he was? I had no choice but to set this up as soon as possible. Right away, he started learning about the ways Brewster could interact with the railway. This started a long play time full of made up scenarios and plenty of giggles.

This set has a wash station and a fuel station. Each time a button is pushed, when Brewster is powered on and inside or in front of the station, he begins to talk about what's happening and the station's react by making the appropriate sound effects. For example, when he's in the wash station and Alex selects the wash button, Brewster laughs and says "That tickles!". This sort of interaction always makes Alex giggle.

What's even greater than this? There are other interactive stations available for purchase as well as track and other trains. The trains talk to each other and even sing the Chuggington theme song. This is such a fun and imaginative set and my son looks forward to adding more and more to it. {Thank heavens for birthdays and holidays, lol}.

BUY IT: You can purchase the Chuggington Interactive Wash and Fuel set for around $39.99.
