It's Cold Out. Warm Up With Marie Callender's Pot Pies! {review}

I'm sure I'm not the only person to gravitate toward things that make me warm and cozy when winter hits. And while I'm all for taking the time to prepare meals for my family, there are days when my "to do" list is too long and I'm too busy to make a meal from scratch. That's when I turn to simply warming something up that's sure to be tasty. 

Recently, I was sent coupons to pick up some pot pies from Marie Callender's. This is a brand I'm pretty familiar with as I always see it in my store's freezer section and I used to buy from this brand years ago when I worked in retail and needed to bring in something quick and hearty to eat on my break. 

ANYWAY....

With the coupons I was sent, we bought a Turkey Pot Pie and a Chicken Pot Pie. I chose to eat my chicken pot pie on a night that was very busy for me and I just needed a quick meal. I popped my pot pie in the microwave for 10 1/2 minutes and waited to enjoy it.

 Here's the part I really liked about getting my dinner ready. All I had to do was remove the top of the box and put the rest of the box in the microwave. I didn't have to pull anything out and put it in a bowl like I'm used to with pot pies. It was really simple and cooked beautifully.

Do you see that pretty pot pie? Yum!

I can assure you, it was absolutely delicious and it hit the spot and helped ease the chill of the cold weather outside.

The hubster chose the Turkey Pot Pie and he thought it was pretty tasty as well. He's never had a turkey flavored pot pie before so he wasn't sure what to expect. He ate every last bite of it, though. :)
