Dress Your Kiddos In Gymboree Styles And Save! {review}

Confession? I've never shopped for my kiddos at Gymboree before this review opp. I had the impression that it was too expensive and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get much for the amount I could afford to spend.

Boy was I wrong.

{Psst. Visit the store or website and check out the big sale going on right now!}

Here's how my shopping trip went down. I was sent a $100 gift card to spend in the store and thought I would try and find something for my youngest, who usually gets her sister's hand-me-downs and is growing much faster than her big sister did. I headed in to the store and gathered up what I thought to be around $100 worth of clothes. I wasn't too disappointed with what I came up with either.

First, I grabbed this adorable, spring/summer outfit. I could not resist the orange and pink combination, the polka dots, and the ruffles. This is the Puppy Hot Air Balloon Shirt and the Dot Tiered Ruffle Skirt {with diaper cover}.

I also noted that the swim suits were on sale and I needed one for Mikayla to wear to the water park resort we were going to stay at. I grabbed her the Splashy Blossom/ Flower Rash Guard Set. I thought it would be perfect for the summer since she has fair skin and this would give her great protection from the sun.

And a cute bathing suit needs accessories, right? I found her the sweetest sun hat and a pair of sandals. The hat is the Strawberry Dot Sunhat and the sandals are the Flower Dot Flip Flop Sandal. The thing I love about the sandals is how they fit on her foot. There is a velcro strap that can be easily tightened or loosened to ensure a perfectly, comfortable fit for her as her feet grow.

I had a bit left before I hit my limit of $100, or so I thought, so I grabbed this shirt for my son. It was just perfect for him as it was a t-shirt with a nicely designed submarine on the front. I felt it was dressy enough to wear to church but comfortable enough for him to move around and play in. It turns out, he agrees with my assessment. This is the Plaid Submarine Tee.

If you add up the value of my purchase, it's over the $100 limit. Would you like to know how much this cost me? My total was only $67.30!! I immediately had the thought that I should head home and do some online shopping to finish up the gift card, when the sales lady asked me if I was a Gymboree Rewards member.

I was not.

With that answer she got all excited and told me it was free to sign up. Then she told me I had earned $25 in Gymboree Gymbucks. She showed me when I would be able to come back in April and use those Gymbucks to save $25 off my next $50 purchase. AND since I signed up to be a rewards member, I can shop a day before everyone else is allowed to. Nice!

Long story, short, I will be heading back to Gymboree in April to use my balance of $32.70 and get $25 off a $50 purchase. I am SO excited!

I saw a lot of way-too-cute things I would like to buy for my kiddos in the store!

{I should do a follow up and show you the deals I score!}

** Thanks to Gymboree for the gift card to use. This review is based strictly on my experience and opinion. I was not compensated {beyond the gift card to use} for the review itself or to influence my choice of words. Others may not agree or may have a different experience.**
