SmartShopper (Review and Giveaway)

I want to share with you my new secret to success in grocery shopping. Sure, I made lists before receiving this amazing product, but I never had the time to organize my list to simplify my shopping trips. And please don't get me started on how many times I've forgotten to add things to my list during the week.

The SmartShopper quickly and easily makes your list for you. It takes all the work out of organization. All you have to do is push the "Record" button and say what you would like to add to your list. That's it. It will bring up a menu after that with 2 or 3 possibilities to match what you said. Simply use the arrow keys to find which one you want and hit select. This automatically adds that item to your list and from there you can continue to add items until your list is finished.

When your list is complete, simply push the "Print" button. Your list will be printed out and automatically separated into sections. This will better help guide your shopping trip around the store. Everything is clearly separated from Deli Meats to Breakfast Food.

One thing I love about the SmartShopper is the huge magnets on the back. You can stick it to the side of your fridge, like I did, or hang it on your wall with the appropriate hardware.

Now, the second we run out of something, I go to the SmartShopper and add it to the list. No more forgetting to add things. I'm all about electronics that make my life easier.

  1. This thing looks so neat! Right now I try to organize my list into sections of the store, that way it is more manageable and I am less likely to forget something. I really think that this will help with that. It will also prevent my husband from adding something in the wrong part of my list and therefore me missing it and not buying it (chips and salsa).

  4. Well, I try to keep my shopping organized by writing things on my list in the order they are in the store. HOWEVER...when a family member writes something down, they put it anywhere on the list, which screws me up.

With the Smart Shopper, I wouldn't have to worry about that anymore because it would organize it by departments for me!!

  8. What I like about the Smartshopper is the magnet and then recording what I need. It will make shopping so much easire.

When is comes to shopping now, first of all, I put the store flyer in my basket on the fridge. When it comes time to make the list, I try to remember what I need first, then add other items to the list by seeing what's in the paper. Next, I rewrite the list into sections. Therefore, I do far more work then necessary.

  9. Right now, my organization consists of a notepad by the fridge (that often gets moved) and whatever I can manage to remember when I get to the store. This would be handy, because even Doug could add things to the list saving me extra trips back to the store when I realize he used the last of the apple juice and forgot to tell me!

  10. I keep a list or lists then try to consolidate them when I go to the store. The problem is they are messy and when I rewrite them I miss something and I can't read my writing. The Smart SHopper would do away with my messy lists and I would finally be organized when I hit the store.

  11. Hi Amy!

I have been eyeing this baby for awhile now! I love it and I could really use it! Right now I just write a list right before I leave to the store. I think this would help me enter things as I need them so I remember everything I need!

Thank you so much for the chance!

  15. I keep my shopping organize by making a shopping list. Not always effective but works.

The smart shopper can do sooo much for my family. I would keep all the lists in one place. Get my printout in one place and even remember to do other errands instead of coming home and throwing my hands up in frustration because I forgot something.

  18. I like the fact that I don't have to write anything down. Just speak & presto!

And yes, you can never have too many gadgets to keep you organized!

  19. I make a list each week, or make that lists. I always forget something, so I end up with multiple lists, confusion, and a lot of wasted paper. This would solve all my problems for sure!

  20. basically i just make a list. post it in the fridge, just keep adding to the list until it's time to shop. i know not to efficient!

  21. How I keep my shopping organized? Well, I wouldn't actually say it's all that organized, but I wait until time to do some shopping and then run around doing inventory throughout the house, make a handwritten list, then head to the store. The SmartShopper would be extremely helpful to me! I always end up forgetting something that we need. With the SmartShopper I could input things I need as I run out or run low on it, so then I wouldn't have to do that much inventory.

  23. What I do now to make my shopping half way organized is I always make a list according to product aisle. The Smart Shopper would really be a great asset to me because you are able to flag your coupons and that is one thing I always forget to hand the cashier.

  25. Other than trying to write down the things I need when we run out, and *trying* to organize my list, nothing about my shopping list is organized.
This would be a fun way to keep track of what I need, and since it organizes for me, I wont be running back to the other end of the store to grab those few things on the list that I forgot!

  26. This would really help keep my shopping organized. I am not to organized when it comes to shopping. The only thing I do now is keep a list on the refrigerator so we can add to it when we run out of things.

  28. I think this would help me immensely. Now I write on any scrap of paper I find and it's not very organized, sometimes I cannot find a pen. And with this help I don't even need to look for my glasses, since I can record my list by voice. Elisabet

  30. Now I just pile everything on my paper list and wander aimlessly around the store, and I know I totally buy more than I need to because I don't go section by section, so with the SmartShopper I know this would help save me both time and money. Wow what a great product.

  31. Well, I keep a list for each store that I plan on visiting. That way, I'm getting the best deals at each store and know what to look for when I'm there. The SmartShopper would totally help because I always forget at least 3 major things every time I go shopping!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I write out my list based on the weekly grocery ads and then search my coupons to see if I can save even more. I don't always remember to take my list with me though and can't always remember what I am supposed to get. With the SmartShopper I could print the list before I leave for work and have it with me when I go shopping.

  33. Right now I take a quick look through my pantry, fridge and freezer and then ask my husband if we need anything. The smartshopper would save me those second and third trips back to the store for the forgotten items. Thanks for the chance.

  34. i use a list but i write things down when i run out of things or when i think of them, so by the time i get to the grocery my list is a mess things are not in the right place and i'm constanly having to go half back threw the store to get something that was on the bottom or in the middle of my list. thanks for the giveaway.

  37. I keep all my coupons in a photo album so I can easily see them. This would be great so I could keep a list all week without losing it.

  38. I think that just starting by seperating my list into two categories "frozen" and "everything else" would make my life easier. I think this shopper would take all of the stress out of food shopping. We shop at the commissary and it is always so busy, if I forget something, oh well.

  39. How many things can I say I love about the smart shopper and I want one so bad, all of them. I have teens and their favorite thing is to tell me when I’m busy what they need or want from the store and my number one saying in my house is:
GO WRITE IT ON THE SHOPPING LIST..
which is hanging on our fridge. They never do, so we’re at the store and needless to say it doesn’t get purchased. My husbands comment if I send him to the store I didn’t see that wrote on the list. This would save my family nightmare, as it seems so simple even my husband could do it.
Oh please make me a winner and save my grocery sanity.
    Thank you

  40. Oh my how I need this. I have scraps of paper with items I need to purchase...course they get lost and then I don't get what I need from the store. This having so many items already listed and you can input more...and then when getting ready to shop you can print out your list. How easy and so wonderful!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I currently have a list on the refrigerator for items that we have run out of. I write my shopping list on a separate piece of paper. The Smart Shopper would enable me to combine both lists so I would be unlikely to run out of something.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Right now, I shop at multiple stores to get the good deals everywhere. This means I have multiple lists every week. I ALWAYS tend to lose one or get them mixed up. This is great that you can print out multiple lists for multiple places, all on one piece of paper!
