I married my best friend and the most wonderful man I’ve ever known (aside from my dad, of course.)
The morning of the big day, my dress (handmade by my mom) and shoes were waiting to be worn.
Because my dress was so full, my mom had to help me get my shoes on.
The girls and I posed for a few pictures and then…
I had to sit down. The butterflies were getting the best of me.
The music started up. They were playing “Moonglow” and that was when
my dad and my grandpa walked me down the aisle.
We said “I do”
and sealed it with a kiss.
There were more pictures and then
there was dancing.
There was also a beautiful honeymoon escape to the mountains of Tennessee that I will never forget.
I will always remember the beauty of this wedding day. The fall colors that were used to decorate the reception hall were breathtaking and the joy that warmed my heart is unforgettable.
I’m blessed to have had such a perfect wedding day. I’m even more blessed that the man who was waiting for me at the end of the aisle still looks at me with the same loving eyes as we grow as a couple and continue to grow our family.
