I'm Having A Young Living Pumpkin Party!

** As an independent distributor for Young Living Essential Oils, I make a commission on any sales connected to my member number. All opinions and thoughts are my own. Others may not agree or may have a different experience. See my marketing disclaimer at the bottom of this post.**

Yes! A Pumpkin Party!!
But what on earth is that?

It's a sale that ends tonight, Sept. 30th, at midnight {EST}. Fun idea, right?

Why am I doing this? Well, first, I'm over the moon excited that Peace & Calming is back in stock in the warehouse. We've been without it all summer because the last harvest of one of the oils in this blend was below the quality level that Young Living has set. I'm proud to work with a company that won't just push out product but cares about the quality living up to their high standards...even if that means we have to wait a bit for it to come back in stock.

Peace & Calming has been an answer to prayer for me! Every time my threenager taps into her "Hulk-itude", every time life piles up on my shoulders, and so on - I'm so thankful for this oil blend!!

So, let's party! Let's get you started in your oily journey by saving Half-Off by purchasing your kit, 24% off going forward on any of your purchases with no obligation to do anything else (ever!), and I'll throw in Peace & Calming for FREE!

Are you ready? Comment here or email me SOON! So I can help you through the process of signing up and make sure I get that free oil to you!! I'm SOO Excited for you!!!

A Call To Join The #AGForAllGirls Movement!

** I received NO Compensation whatsoever for sharing the following information. I chose to post it at my own discretion without pay or item for review simply because I love this brand that much. **

You've heard me share about American Girl here before. {You can use the search box on the sidebar to find all my old posts} I love this brand and how they encourage my girls to be girls without minimizing their individual abilities. It's not a brand that's focussed on "girly girl" as much as it's focussed on how beautifully different each girl is.

Tell you more about #AGForAllGirls? OK! This is the perfect way to rally girls everywhere to be an encouraging voice to each other. Let's show them how to think of others and champion them to reach their best potential. Just watch this short video to understand it a bit more.

Right now, you have the chance to join their movement and make a pledge to all girls. The pledge I made is pictured below.

Are you ready to make your pledge and let your girls make a pledge too? Great! Head over to this American Girl link and get started! It's very easy to do and they won't ask for any personal information outside of your name and age.

Please pass this around and share it with friends. Let's get all the girls we know to pledge!!!

Tickets for the Detroit Engagement of Disney’s NEWSIES

Performances at The Detroit Opera House, December 15 -27

(Detroit, MI) - Disney Theatrical Productions and Broadway In Detroit announced today that tickets for the highly anticipated Detroitengagement of Disney’s NEWSIES will go on sale to the public on Sunday, September 20 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets will be available for purchase at all Ticketmaster locations, by phone at 1-800-982-2787, online at www.broadwayindetroit.com or www.ticketmaster.com.  Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Detroit Opera House and Fisher Theatre box offices starting at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 21. The Tony® Award-winning production will begin performances at the Detroit Opera House on Tuesday, December 15 for a limited holiday season engagement of two weeks through Sunday, December 27.

NEWSIES, the new American musical, features a Tony® Award-winning score with music by eight-time Academy Award® winner Alan Menken and lyrics by Jack Feldman, a book by four-time Tony® Award winner Harvey Fierstein and is produced by Disney Theatrical ProductionsNEWSIES is directed by Tony® nominee Jeff Calhoun and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli, who won a 2012 Tony Award® for his work.  The entire creative team has reunited to bring the break-out smash musical to audiences across North America.

When it opened on March 29, 2012 NEWSIES was intended for a Broadway run of just 101 performances.  The show’s fiercely devoted fans had other ideas, however; they propelled the show to a run of 1005 performances, attendance of more than 1 million and a gross of over $100M.

While on BroadwayNEWSIES set and broke seven Nederlander Theatre house records and became the highest-grossing show from the 2011-12 Broadway season. The show received 23 major theatrical nominations – including eight Tony Award® nods – and won Tony®, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Score and Choreography.

Set in New York City at the turn of the century, NEWSIES is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of teenaged ‘newsies,’ who dreams only of a better life far from the hardship of the streets. But when publishing titans Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack finds a cause to fight for and rallies newsies from across the city to strike for what’s right.

NEWSIES is inspired by the real-life ‘Newsboy Strike of 1899,’ when newsboy Kid Blink led a band of orphan and runaway newsies on a two-week-long action against Pulitzer, Hearst and other powerful newspaper publishers.

The stage version introduces seven brand-new songs by the original team of Menken and Feldman, including a song written specifically for the tour called ‘Letter from the Refuge,’ while keeping many of the beloved songs from the film, including ‘Carrying the Banner, ‘Seize the Day,’ ‘King of New York’ and ‘Santa Fe.’

Since the film’s 1992 theatrical release and subsequent DVD release, NEWSIES has grown into a cult phenomenon, and for years had been the single most requested title of all the Disney musical films not yet adapted for the stage.  (The film featured a screenplay by Bob Tzudiker & Noni White (Tarzan, 102 Dalmatians).)

Performance times for NEWSIES appearing December 15 - 27, 2015 at the Detroit Opera House, located at 1526 BroadwayinDetroit, are:
