Fresh Start

I'm excited to begin a new "place" for blogging my thoughts.

Currently, my thoughts are on everything...that is...everything that doesn't pertain to me personally.
I've altered my focus a tad to things that are light-hearted or interesting. Since I'm not feeling great right now (just a little uncomfortable) I can be considered neither of the two.
I have been spending a lot of time on the floor with Alex today. I don't want to take one waking moment with him for granted. We've been crawling around, playing with puzzles, coloring, playing with his ark of animals, and reading books. I love my son so much! I don't think I would be as strong and determined as I am without him.
He isn't walking yet, but there's no hurry there. He does push his walker around everywhere or holds on to my legs when I walk. :) He's too sweet. Today he pointed to a door and a chair and said both words on his own. I was like, "WHAT?" He's learning so much so quick.

I've recently subscribed to a daily scripture e-mail. Today, my e-mail said "Remember this - a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop." 2 Corinthians 9:6
I've been learning a lesson lately. I need to be intentional with my time. I need to not waste it and make sure that I'm in the scriptures more than I have been. Things that are "of good report" need to be on my lips more than whatever Ellen has to say.
I've grown too comfortable. It's time to change.
