It feels good to see that I have an "Excellent Signal Strength" to the Internet again.
It also feels good to be back.
You may have thought I was here the whole time...well, you're wrong. For the past 7 days, I've been without my DSL Internet connection. (Thank goodness for wireless capabilities). I've been juicing off of a very low powered wireless connection that would drop me whenever it felt like it.
I grew so tired of this low connection but I really didn't have a choice. My provider told me that they made an error, disconnected my line, and that I would have to wait 7 days for them to turn it back on. Yay for me.
(I won't even go into the escapade of the twitches and shakes I went through from withdrawals immediately following my discovery of the red, blinking light on my modem. It was anything but healthy. It was almost as if the loss of a connection meant the loss of my sanity.)
What's done is done and I can't change the circumstances. I'm just thankful to be back online without fear of being dropped in the middle of an e-mail or blog.
Now, I'm off to catch up on my e-mails and such. After that, I'll be laying down on that bench in the picture with a nice, contented countenance. Well, not really but you get the idea.
Welcome Back! I bet it's a great relief to be connected.
