Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
Kailani’s question is:
What is your blogging goal for 2009?
My answer: I would love to have my "new" blog take off and be able to make a small income.
My question:
What are your parenting goals for 2009?
I'm doing devotions every day with Alex and planning for potty training soon.
Aloha!
I want to believe I can maybe have baby M potty trained this year, but time will tell. I also want to do more crafts with the monkey's
ReplyDeleteWell, for my blogging goals, I'd like to continue having fun and meeting cool people, maybe begin doing reviews, and to do more giveaways. My own goals for 09, are to get in better shape (me and the kiddos) and to spend more quality time, try to slow down and enjoy life. Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteMy goal with Little B. is also to get him potty trained. He is my first and only child and I have no idea how to do it, or when to begin.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you will have to do a blog about potty training, we got DD a potty for Christmas
ReplyDeleteMy children are grown and one son lives with me.
ReplyDeleteI guess my goal should be to stop nagging him!!
great goals! I too wanna start the potty training! lemme know if you figure out some tips along the way :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome goals... my girls are only 14 months, but They've already started sitting on the potty when I get them ready for bath time... and going...lol.. But I probably won;t take it to a more serious level for a while.. good luck..
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to spend more time with my kindergarten kid. I am guilty of being more in tune with my younger son since he is home all day. I need to do fun things, not just homework with him.
ReplyDeleteAfter we get home from our Disney trip we will likely attempt potty training the little guy. He will be two and has already shown a real interest in the bathroom and gone many times.
Become more patient, and help my son speak more (he's going through Early Intervention).
ReplyDeleteThat is a good question! My little guy is getting to the age where he has more of a mind of his own, so we would like to not have him totally rule our lives, but we want to continue to make his life fun and for him to learn as much as possible. And it would be nice if he would someday consistently sleep through the night!
ReplyDeleteI am aiming do do more reviews and giveaways. I never knew how much fun it is. I also am going to try to go to a few events so I can meet some other bloggers.
ReplyDeleteTo to more crafty fun things with the kids! Also I would really like to get them more excited about developing their own individual interests...
ReplyDeleteYea...I'm hoping my 2.5yr old will be potty trained soon! Any tips would be helpful!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to play more with my kids this year too. =)
Potty training is definitely on my list, too.
ReplyDeleteAloha
