Milkshake (review and giveaway)

I'm a long time fan of children's music as I've worked with children for many, many years. After hearing it all the time, though, it's hard to find something that's original and enriching for little one's. Let's face it, moms and dads aren't crazy about annoying music on repeat. Thank goodness for this band. Milkshake "gets it".

I was given an amazing opportunity to listen to and watch Milkshake with my son. He was drawn to their music right away and loves to listen to them for dance time.

Here's what we reviewed:

This is the first DVD from Milkshake. It's very, VERY well done and plenty entertaining for my son and I to watch and dance to. (I wish I had a cool tutu for our dance times.) Some of my favorite videos on the DVD are Bluebird, Bottle of Sunshine, and Fingers & Toes.

 

This is the latest CD from Milkshake. They also sell 2 others. In our house,  we enjoy listening to We got a band, Baseball, and Go Wild. Although, my son can listen to the whole album all day long.

Finally, we received a fun comic book about the band Milkshake. My son enjoyed looking at the colorful pictures and listening to the story as I read. 

We are now HUGE fans of Milkshake and hope they come in concert soon. We would have so much fun dancing to our favorite songs together. :)
