GlassesUSA (review)

Clipboard01

When I was told at the beginning of this year that I needed glasses, I made 2 decisions. My first decision was that I was not excited about the idea of contacts. My second decision was that I was going to be very picky about the frames I chose to wear. I wanted eyeglasses that looked like “me” while be fashionable at the same time.

I was recently given the opportunity to try out a pair of prescription glasses from GlassesUSA. In this online store, there are many nice frames (for both men and women) at very reasonable prices.

After I shopped around for a bit, I decided on the Niko Brown eyeglass frames.

Clipboard02 The frame is plastic but the arms have a metal base that allow a little more give and also make it easy to make slight adjustments to make them more comfortable. I love the rich, brown color of the frames as well.

Here is a picture of me wearing my glasses from GlassesUSA.

These frames retail for $80 but at GlassesUSA, you’ll only pay $34.95 (including lenses). Also, since I want my new glasses to last and protect my eyes, I added an Anti-Scratch coating, UV coating, and Anti-Reflective coating. All 3 of the coatings combined will only add $14.95 to your total.  So, for under $50, you can buy fashionable, comfortable frames  and lenses that protect your eyes from UV rays.

Another wonderful thing about GlassesUSA is that you can shop with confidence. Your satisfaction is guaranteed and their return policy revolves around you, the customer, and your happiness.

Here’s a bit of information from the people at GlassesUSA that you may find interesting:

“There are a few things you should know about GlassesUSA. We’re not just out to make money – we actually care about society! All of our returned eyeglasses are not restocked as they are with most optical stores. Ours are “recycled”! What does that mean? Well, we believe that everyone should have access to vision care. So, we donate all of our returned eyeglasses to various organizations around the US who then sanitize and redistribute the eyeglasses with the correct prescription to people all over the world who can’t afford vision care!

Seeing properly shouldn’t be a luxury – it should be a necessity. We do our best to help our customers and we take their vision needs very seriously. We are an international company with two offices: one in New Jersey (our headquarters) and one in Israel. Our eyeglasses are produced at both facilities in order to provide our customers with top quality lenses in the hottest frames available!”

Overall, I’m very happy with my shopping and experience with GlassesUSA and the eyeglasses I received from them have become my favorite to wear.
