mickey image004

Alex and I were recently able to review 2 of  the newest DVDs from Disney. Their titles were Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Choo-Choo Express and Handy Manny: Motorcycle Adventure.

Mickey’s Choo-Choo Express is a full length feature about Mickey and his friends using an old train to bring snow that will never melt (made by Professor Von Drake) down from the mountain for some play time. Mickey plans a party for everyone and he  makes sure to get to every train station on time so the party can begin. He and his friends even bump into Santa and Mrs. Claus on the way.

This DVD is adorable and even includes a bonus episode. Alex seems to enjoy this feature so he can choose which Mickey show he wants to watch.

Here is more information from the press release:

The gang is eager to help, but Willie's "little list" of chores turns out to be a big hassle considering how small they are in the giant's home. With a big "can do" spirit, the Clubhouse gang set about the chores and all the jobs get done in time earning a mammoth thank you from Willie when he gets home.

Handy Manny: Motorcycle Adventure is also a full-length feature that has been getting a lot of play time around here. Alex is crazy about this DVD.

In this story, Handy Manny is taking his tools to a family reunion. On the way, his tools learn that friends can be family while they face a few different adventures together.

This DVD also has a bonus episode that Alex watches as often as he’s allowed. It puts him right in the holiday mood as Handy Manny and his tools help their friends get ready to celebrate by making gifts and fixing things up.
