Spring Jewelry From Guy and Eva Review (giveaway closed)

When I think of Spring, I think of COLOR and fun ways to add color to my wardrobe. I've always been a fan of tying in pops of color with my accessories and jewelry. There's really no limit to the different looks you can give a few pieces of spring clothing given the right accessories.

Guy and Eva have loads of options when it comes to jewelry pieces to enhance and compliment your look. Go ahead and take a peek at their catalog. You're sure to find something you like and may be surprised by its affordable price.

Now, I'm not sure about you, but I'm all about presentation. If I'm going to get some nice jewelry, I want it to arrive in something other than tissue paper. I love pretty boxes and fancy wrapping. (What can I say? I'm a girl like that.)

When my jewelry arrived from Guy and Eva,  I was wowed for sure. I appreciate their attention to presentation. It honestly made me feel special to open up what they shipped to me and I tried to think of what nice item of clothing I could wear these pieces with.

For this event, I was sent the Misty bracelet and the Skye necklace from the Spring/Summer catalog. Here's a look at the first impression view.

The sky necklace is made of glass and resin beads. I've always been a sucker for a stunning, chunky necklace. (Just ask my mom.) I love the earthiness of the look and the different ways necklaces like this can be made.

The turquoise color beads on the necklace matched with shades of white and opal make it really glimmer. After my first look, I thought this necklace had a wonderful, ocean look to it. I think this looks amazing with a simple, white top or even a very light shade of blue. A simple backdrop can really make the colors in this necklace dance.

Also, the Skye necklace can be worn a few different ways. Here's a look at the necklace worn simply.

And here's what it looks like if you double it up so it rests on your collar bone.

I think the camera picked up the turquoise color wonderfully but it scarcely does this necklace justice. You need to see it in person to get the full affect.

Next, I'll tell you more about the Misty bracelet. This little beauty is made from hand painted enamel and has a hinge on it that makes putting it on and taking it off quite easy. The real bonus to that, for me, is "fit". I have an extremely small wrist and get nervous when things like bracelets or watches are purchased for me. If it's not something I can adjust, I normally don't buy it or wear it (if it were a gift). Since the Misty bracelet is made a little on the snug side, I can wear it comfortably without any problems.

As I hinted to earlier, there are many different styles of jewelry available at Guy and Eva. A great opportunity to get your hands on a lot of what they sell and possibly even keep some of it is in hosting a party. If you set a date for a party with Guy and Eva, the rewards are many. From free jewelry, to discounts on more jewelry, to shopping from pieces only available to hostesses, you're sure to have a great time.

And if one party isn't enough for you, maybe you should look into being an advisor. You can make some cash on the side or make it a full time, paid hobby. (Yes, playing with jewelry is a hobby.) I looked over their advisor page and there are a lot of benefits to working with Guy and Eva. Check it out!
