House Blend ~ Mother's Day 2010

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

As a tribute to Moms everywhere, this week's House Blend is based on a passage of scripture that talks about the lady of the household. Many even refer to this passage as that of the "Proverbs Woman". 

Proverbs 31:25:
^25(A) Strength and dignity are her clothing,
   and she laughs at the time to come.

I try to wear the words "strength and dignity" as my daily clothing and I do so with all my heart. As a wife and a mother, these two words are absolutely key to my survival and sanity.

And as for laughing at the days to come, I read that as bubbling with joy over my future and the future of my family. I'm excited for the things that God has for each of us here in my home. I'm excited and happy. While there are most certainly going to be trying times, I know deep down that good will always triumph over evil. That truth just makes me happy and hopeful.

I pray that each of you find hope and laughter during your day as well.
