High Sierra Sport Makes Traveling Easier Review (Giveaway Now Closed)

 Unfortunately for the hubster, he's going to have to bring a bit of work with him on our road trip. {And how fortunate for us that he's able to do that.}

I've noticed that he always has a problem packing all of the files he needs along with his laptop and other office items in one bag. After all, it is rather difficult to pack an office in a bag, isn't it?

High Sierra Sport offered a solution for him to use on our road trip by sending us the Powerglide Day Pack.

 In this bag, are the answers to every need he faces as he takes work on the road. It keeps his things together, organized, safe, and easily portable.

On the front of the Powerglide, there's this handy triangle hook for him to use to attach an accessory (i.e. a lock) if he chooses.

At the top of this bag is a pocket that is perfect to use for an MP3 player. There's even an access point where headphone wires can go into the pocket and connect to the player for easy listening while on the go with the pack.

Inside the front, zippered compartment, is an organizer just waiting to be put to use. There are places for pens, keys {key fob is removable}, a cell phone, and whatever else he may need it to hold.

Next, there is a padded area meant just for his laptop and room beyond that for cords. The hubster has a rather large laptop {17"} and it fits perfectly in the pocket. It's nice to know that a laptop is safe and secure while all packed up and on the go.

The main compartment of the bag is humongous. The hubster likes it because he can put a stack of files inside and know that they're not going to move around or get wrinkled up. He even had me sit and watch him pack up his files when I questioned if they really fit well or if they moved around as he was on the go. Well, he was right and I was very impressed.

On either side of the bag are these deep pockets. They can easily hold a bottle of water inside. I think it's great as it means this pack can truly carry everything and leave hands free.

And here's the neatest feature of the bag. It can either be worn as a backpack or pulled by taking out the padded, double-tubed telescopic handle and rolling it on its wheels.

The beauty of how it works is in the zippered panel on the back of the bag. When it's zipped shut, it's ready to be wheeled away. But, when the hubster wants to carry it on his back, the back panel unzips, tucks under the day pack, over the wheels, and Velcros to the strip on the bottom of the back that will hold it in place. The adjustable arm straps for the backpack are attached to the pack and tucked under this panel so they're not in the way when the pack is being pulled behind.

This is something the hubster has already been using often and he looks forward to using it on our trip. He's happy to have something that keeps everything together. I'm happy he's happy but I'm mostly happy to have found a solution that will last us a long time.  Not only is the Powerglide roomy, it's also very tough and can handle being beat up from travel.

The only criticism the hubster has for this bag is with the telescopic handle. He's had some issue with it extending smoothly. It works, it's just wonky from time to time.

High Sierra Sport would like to gift one of you with a bag!
