How Will You "Say Boo To The Flu"? (Giveaway)

Halloween is right around the corner. Unfortunately, so is the flu season.

I know what you're thinking and I really don't mean to be a killjoy. But, I am a mom of 2 children and I do think about these kind of things quite often. Their health and safety is always of utmost importance to me.


So how do we mix something fun like Halloween with something not so fun like the flu? Simple. By bringing your family to the upcoming event, you can show your little ones the fun is saying "Boo" to the flu.

• Who's hosting? Clorox and the Visiting Nurse Association will be hosting a "Say Boo To The Flu" event.
• What is it? A fun, Halloween themed clinic where families can get vaccinated for the flu
• Where? Alliance Mobile Health/ 2045 Austin Dr./ Troy, MI 48083
• When? Saturday, October 9, 2010 12:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Here's the run-down on the cost. The Flu shot will be $25, the FluMist (for children over age 2) will be $30, and the Pneumonia shot will be $50. If you have insurance that you would like to have billed for the vaccinations, the VNA (Visiting Nurse Association) can accept the following: Blue Care Network, Medicare, HAP, Health Plus of Michigan and Priority Health. 


*A select number of flu shots will be available for free to those without insurance. If you fit into this category, I suggest you arrive early to make sure you get a free shot before they run out.*

My family will be attending this event dressed for Halloween and getting ourselves taken care of for the upcoming flu season. (Stop in and say "Hi".)
