Wordless Wednesday ~ Too Many Words

Well over a year ago, I was positive that Alex wouldn't be our only child. I knew God had at least one more baby for our home. I started praying for that baby before I was even pregnant.

I named her Eliana (yes I prayed for a girl) because it means "God has answered" or "God has responded" in Hebrew.

After months and months of not being pregnant, I finally had a positive pregnancy test. You should have heard the sobs of joy. In my heart of hearts I knew that this baby was my Eliana. She was my answered prayer.

A year ago today, she was born.

And she made my happy heart even happier.

3 months

She grew

6 months

and grew

9 months

and grew to be the sweetest little girl I know.

As today marks the day she's officially a toddler, my arms remember the infant and my heart remembers the moment she entered the world. I don't know what the next year holds, but I can tell you...

...I'm so thankful for her first.
