The Holiday Season is in the air. People are making their lists and picking out gifts. I would love to share some of my recommendations for items available exclusively at Build-A-Bear Workshop. I'd also love to help one of you out with your next spending trip there but I'll get to that in a bit.
Ready?
First {and you need to act quickly on this one}, if you spend $30 in store from now until November 24th, you'll receive a free Christmas stocking. Of course, this is a "while supplies last" kind of deal but the stockings are adorable and you can use it as part of a gift should you be there shopping for someone who isn't with you at the time of purchase.
Alex and I recently took a trip to our local store to check this out for ourselves. Please view my "photo-mentary" {photo documentary} on our time there.
Also, during the month of November, you can donate $1 at checkout to go towards the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. During the month of December, the $1 donation will support Toys for Tots. What an easy way to give to others in this season of giving. Am I right?
Of course, Thanksgiving is quickly approaching. Do some online shopping on Thanksgiving Day and Cyber Monday at www.buildabear.com for some "Beary" exclusive deals. Last year, they sold out of the items I
wanted to purchase almost right away. Remember, the early bear gets the honey. ;)
If you'd like to buy a "no-brainer" kind of gift, Build-A-Bear Workshop has you covered. These items are pre-stuffed, dressed, and packaged up for prices ranging from $15 to $40. This is the perfect idea for someone who is busy but still wants to give a personal gift.
A cute little add-on, these Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Mini Collectifriends are priced at only $8.50 a piece or 3 for $15. Kids seem to love clipping things like this on their jackets and backpacks and they would even be cute to give if your little one has a gift exchange in their classroom.
Remember, when all else fails, buy a Bear Buck$ gift card. You can choose the amount and even the kind of card you want. If the little one you're shopping for is anything like my son, they'll want to keep the card even after it's used up. Honestly, a gift card to Build-A-Bear Workshop is more than allowing a child to choose their own, favorite item. It's the perfect way to give him/her an experience that will be appreciated and remembered for a long time.
There are many other items available at Build-A-Bear Workshop. I've chosen to highlight a few of my own favorites so please make sure to stop by a store or the website on your own time. I'm sure, with all the variety, you'll find something suitable for yourself or that special someone on your shopping list.
I have a $25 Gift Card for ONE lucky winner!!
