Keep Warm With Carhartt (review)

The hubster has been looking high and low for a hoodie that would keep him warm and would be able to last a while. He's pretty active and is always playing rough with Alex so this "lasting" thing is a pretty big deal and not at all easy to come by. 

Me? I just like my comfort when it starts getting cold out. I love throwing on something cozy and warm and being done with it. Believe you, me. I know how to wear a hoodie out. I can thoroughly exhaust a hoodie from use and the signs of wear are all over the place. 

Enter Carhartt and their durable line of hoodies. When offered the choice of what to review, I quickly learned that they make hoodies to serve many different style preferences as well as different fabrics. I was really impressed by this and understood why I see a lot of people who work outdoors decked out in Carhartt from head to toe. If a sweatshirt has so many options, their outerwear must be phenomenal.

The hubster selected the Style # K382: Men’s Series 1889® Carhartt Zip Hoodie {in Charcoal} and I the Style # WK012: Women’s Midweight Graphic Hooded Sweatshirt {in Dusty Purple}.

 I ordered a man's medium for the hubster and waited to see how it fit him after it arrived. I don't think I've ever seen a sweatshirt fit him so well. I also don't think I've seen him wear another shirt half as often as he has already worn this.

It's now been through the wash many times and it's showing no signs of "love". The hubster is smitten with his new hoodie and responded "This is really nice!" when I asked him what he thought of it. He's a man of few words but seeing him wear it so often speaks volumes {he does have other shirts to wear, by the way}.

As for me, well, I wear my hoodie every chance I get too. I love the color of it. More than that, though, I enjoy how soft the inside of this sweatshirt is. I often pair it with a t-shirt and my favorite pair of jeans for a comfortable day of doing whatever it is I'm doing.

And I have to tell you this. This hoodie is warm, warm, warm. Oh, goodness, how I love it.

I'm confident that I'll get a lot of wear out of this hoodie. I have a feeling, however, that this one will put up a fight of durability before it allows me to wear it out like I have my other hoodies.
