Play-Doh Creations Caddy: A Great Gift To Share (review)

Photobucket

When I was growing up with my older sister and younger brother, I remember my parents purposing to give us at least one present that was meant for us to share. When I was young, I thought this was really fun and now that I'm a mom, I love the idea of buying things for my little ones to share.

One thing I know Alex likes to play with, and Eliana likes to squish her fingers in, is Play-Doh. Taking the Play-Doh out in our home is the perfect, family activity.

This year, Play-Doh has a Creations Caddy available to add to your shopping list. We were even sent this for review to include in the gift guide. I'm a big fan of this gift idea. Let me tell you why.

Play-Doh is a wonderful way for Eliana to enjoy some sensory play. And while her hands are a bit small for the tools included in this kit, she will always have her own way to share in the play time with us.  Now, as for Alex, this is perfect for the new preschool student that he is.

The Creations Caddy contains 6 reusable coloring parts, 4 texture tools, roller, 3 stampers, rolling pin, pizza cutter accessory, knife accessory, scissors, 4 wet-erase markers, 2 activity mats, 4 washable crayons and 5 two-ounce cans of PLAY-DOH brand modeling compound. This allows us to take our play-doh play to a whole new world as Alex can learn to explore his creativity and imagination.

This is amazing, also, for developing fine motor skills. Alex can practice writing and cutting with scissors among many other things that will help those muscles in his hands get stronger. Who says learning isn't fun?

It must be said, though, that my favorite part of the Play-Doh Creations Caddy, is the fact that everything is stored inside of it. I love being able to keep things together so I can put it away easily and know where everything is the next time Alex wants to take it out. It really is a dream come true.

This is something I would add to your shopping list if you're buying for little ones this year. It gets an A+ in my book!

BUY IT: You can purchase the Play-Doh Creations Caddy for $19.99
