PLAYSKOOL Picks For Your Shopping List (review)

Photobucket

PLAYSKOOL is a brand that I always look to when I'm looking for gift ideas for my kiddos. I find their line to always have fun items that encourage learning and fun at the same time. Whether I'm shopping for my 1 year old girl or 3 year old boy, I never have a problem finding the perfect item for them.

PLAYSKOOL wanted "in" on this year's gift guide and I am loving the items we were sent to play with.

First up, we checked out the Wheel Pals Polar Party set from the Animal Tracks line. Now, this is something that can be played on its own but it also has other sets that can connect with it to build on the play experience.

I figured this was going to be something my daughter would love to play with but it turns out my 3 year old son loves to play with this just as much. Thankfully, this comes with both a penguin and a polar bear Wheel Pal so they can share and take turns easily.

It's fun to watch Alex and Eliana play with this. They can easily lift the ramp to set the Wheel Pal on their way down and with the flick of a whale's tale, they can push a pal in a different direction or give them a ride on the whale's water spout.

BUY IT: You can purchase Wheel Pals Polar Party for $14.99

Next, we checked out the PLAYSKOOL Explore 'N Grow Push 'N Stack Gears. There are a few different ways to play with this and Eliana absolutely loves it.

This toy features spinning gears galore. There are three at the top that spin around and 5 in the middle that can be placed in a circle or can be stacked up to create a ton of different ways they can be played with. All of these gears spin when the big, smiling button is pressed down which also plays music.

If you're not a big fan of musical toys, don't worry. There's an on/off switch on the bottom that controls whether or not the music is played. This option, however, doesn't effect any other function of the toy.

Finally, there is a ramp on the top of the toy where little hands can race a ball down. After it lands on the base of the toy, there is a wheel that spins the ball around when that same, red button is pushed down.

We love this toy and enjoy playing with it every day.

BUY IT: You can purchase the Explore 'N Grow Musical Gear Center for $19.99

Lastly, we were sent the Adventure Heroes Hero On The Go Playset in the fireman style.

Alex talks everyday about wanting to be a fireman when he grows up. He loves to pretend that someone's in trouble and he's going to save the day. With this playset, he can take that imaginative play one step further.

Here's how it works. The playset can be worn as a backpack with working lights and sounds to go off whenever he's on a rescue mission.

When he arrives at the fire scene, he can remove the backpack and open it up to reveal a cool playset inside. There's a fireman and a firetruck waiting at the station to help anyway they can.

What I love about this is that it's easy for Alex to wear, open up to play, and pack up again. Alex is constantly running from place to place as he plays "fireman" so this is the perfect thing for him to have. I'm pretty sure that this will be used every day for a long, long time.

BUY IT: You can purchase the Adventure Heroes Hero On The Go Playset for $29.99
