Send Your Little One On An Adventure With Zylie The Bear (review and giveaway)

Photobucket

Maybe you've been sitting under the same rock I've been and like me, you haven't yet heard of Zylie The Bear. I recently stumbled upon the website and I couldn't get over how cute and original this is.

Ladies and Gents, meet Zylie the Bear.

To me, it's important that my children have a broad world view. I want them to understand that the world isn't made exclusively of people who look like they do and that there is beauty in different faces and places. Now, I can't come close to be able to afford travels to different countries with my children but now I can bring those different places right into my home through Zylie.

Can you tell I'm in love with this bear?

Zylie the Bear stands 18" tall and came to our home with a pair of pants, a jacket, a cute top, and a purse that holds her passport, world map, and diary. She is the perfect solution for the girl who loves stuffed animals but wants to dress them up at the same time. {Other outfits are available on the website for $20 each.}

Zylie also came with a book that introduces her and shares about her life in New York. This book explains that she is 12 years old and full of energy with dreams to see the world. Currently, there is only one other book in the series and that comes with Zylie's friend Shen The Panda who shares about China.

Please don't be discouraged, though. This bear is the perfect way to teach little ones a love for geography and the world in general. I think it would be fun to take a little initiative and bring Zylie to the library with us to learn about other countries and cultures. We could write our own stories and create our own pictures. {You can totally steal that idea if you'd like. ;) }

Eliana loves this bear and I so look forward to the stories and learning we'll share through Zylie. And {shh, don't tell him I told you this} Alex likes Zylie for her world map and passport. We look at the map together from time to time and I point out where we live as well as other places. If he continues to show interest, I'll have to seriously consider getting him Shen.

If you're looking for an original gift idea for a little boy or girl on your shopping list, you must consider {and then buy} Zylie the Bear or Shen the Panda...or both. These are a wonderful way to bring fun and education to the home. Zylie will be on many adventures with us, I'm sure.

Buy It! You can purchase Zylie the Bear {or Shen} for $70
