In My "Me Time"

I'm sure it's no secret that I love to be creative in the time I have to myself during the day. Some days I have to carve this time out intentionally, other days are more laid back and offer me a bit more time to myself. In any case, something that I'm super a little obsessed with is keeping my nails "did".

We don't always have the budget for me to go get a manicure {hardly ever, really}, so I paint my own nails and enjoy getting creative with them from time to time. I still have yet to start a board on pinterest dedicated to this love of mine because I'm afraid I don't have much time for nail art tutorials. Perhaps I should look into other ideas to try out, though. Hmmm...

For the Holiday weekend, I decided to have some fun. My toenails are blue so I thought my fingernails should be red and white. See?

Let me tell ya, it takes a bit of practice to get the tips just right. I do them differently than I had in the past and I don't use any stickers or anything like that. Maybe that would be a good post...

Anyway, I'm a big fan of switching it up and having fun with my nails...and I just can't go somewhere in public if my nails are all chipped. LOL On those days, I can be found removing nail polish while in the van...not driving, of course.

Some people are curious about this sort of thing so I'll share.
The red is from China Glaze, the white is from the Nail Art line of Dare To Wear, and the clear coat actually has a bit of sparkle to it and is called Etoile from Orly's French Manicure line.

How do you pamper yourself? What do you enjoy when you get some time to yourself?
