My Frigidaire Range ~ A Favorite Feature

I've been enjoying my new Frigidaire range and want to tell you about one of its fantastic features. The magic lies behind this one, single button.

On my Frigidaire Gallery 30" Freestanding Gas Range, there is a panel of options; buttons just waiting to be pushed and put to use. I decided to try the Powerplus Preheat button while I put together some cookie dough not too long ago. I figured it was worth trying out if it was going to warm up my oven faster than my old range.

On the range that used to live in my kitchen, I would have to wait 30 minutes plus for the approximate (and I use that term loosely) temperature I desired to be reached. I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting from my new range in terms of performance but I have to tell you how amazed I was by what happened after I pushed the "Powerplus Preheat" button.

Naturally, I set the temperature I needed the oven to be at for my cookies and then went off to work on the cookie dough. I had barely begun putting my cookie dough together when I heard a beep from my range. "What was that?" I wondered. I went to check on it and guess what I found? In only 6 minutes my oven had warmed up to 350 degrees. Yes, you read that right. Isn't it amazing?

Now, I have a new favorite button to push when using my range. I love the fact that my oven is warmed up and waiting for me to be ready to use it rather than the days when I sat around waiting for the oven to warm up.
