One Testimony

Yesterday was the last day of Champions For Life Kids Camp. One of the camp directors offered the microphone to the children as she asked what they had learned during the week. The first to raise a hand was a little girl who was probably around 10 or 11. Her answer?

"I learned that I am special. I didn't know I could ever be special to anyone."

Can you imagine going through 10-11 years of your life not knowing or believing that you're special? I struggle to wrap my brain around that. I know we all have days when we feel unimportant or overlooked. Can you imagine that day being the norm for 10 plus years? Can you imagine feeling that way everyday of your life since the day you were born? Can you imagine what she must have felt when she discovered she was, in fact, special?

Wow.

I'm glad that God let me be a small part in her learning how special she is...how special we ALL are to Him.
