What's Going On Outside of This Blog?

Here are a few links for you. Some of these were e-mailed to me to share and one is a personal favorite "click" of mine.

* iLunchBox is more than just a website. It is a resource center and portal of information for parents and caregivers dedicated to the pursuit of a healthier lunch for school aged children. iLunchBox is an online community encouraging the input and contribution of its ever growing readership through weekly blogs; monthly webcasts; and social networking. The site consists of:recipes and menu ideas with a focus on lunch and portability. tips and tricks to make lunch easier. best “off the shelf” items when making something from scratch is just not an option. featured gadgets and products that help us get the job done. best products to transport lunch. help and inspiration on improving your school’s hot lunch program. articles and information on nutrition and children. links and resources for more information.

*Disney World Moms Launched in 2008, the Walt Disney World Moms Panel is an online forum that provides first-hand tips and insights for vacationing at the resort from a panel of park-savvy parents. This year, Walt Disney World is looking for a diverse group of moms, dads and grandparents with vast knowledge of the parks and a desire to share their experience with others. And, due to the overwhelming response last year, the 2009 Moms Panel will expand from its inaugural 12 members to 16.

How to apply:
Beginning September 8 through September 19, interested applicants can visit www.disneyworldmoms.com/2009 to learn more about the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and enter. Candidates will be asked to answer a series of questions and write three brief essays; selected panelists will serve a one-year term and will each receive a 5-night, 6-day vacation to Walt Disney World for four people.

* ClosetsGuru.com is a great tool for busy parents that are looking to save time by keeping all the kids’ sporting goods, clothes, toys, etc. (the list could go on and on) organized. The website includes tips for organizing. A photo gallery gives readers a visual representation of the tips and tricks the professionals outline on the website.

* 5 Minutes Around the Blogosphere This is a great way to see a list of different events being held all over the Internet. There are contests, sometimes a job listing or two, and information on other things like websites and books.
Commence clicking. Enjoy!
