Aloha Friday

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

Kailani's question is:

Who knows you better than anyone else?
My Answer: I think that would have to be my Mom. My hubster knows me pretty darn well but my Mom was home while I was growing up...she wins. :)

My question:
When you were little, what did you want to be when you "grew up?"

  1. I wanted to be a teacher ( and once my babies are all in school full time, I can be one).

  2. I was always jealous of people who knew the answer to this, because I never had any idea what I wanted to be. I still don't. ;)

  3. I wanted to be a teacher. I worked in daycare for 6 yrs, so I was close. But after my little one goes to school, I might still try for at least an assistant.

  4. I always wanted to be a teacher. I used to play school all the time. I accomplished my goal and miss it, but being a SAHM is the place for me right now.

  9. In elementary school, I wanted to be an astronaut and an actress. In middle school, I wanted to head up a wildlife refuge in Africa and be an actress. In high school I wanted to be an anthropologist and an actress. I ultimately grew up to be a wife, mother, grandmother, Cub Scout leader, taxi driver, PTA president, team mom, part time nurse, maid, vet, etc....
    An actress of sorts!
    You too?!?

  10. GREAT question!

I wanted to be a dentist, until I worked in a dentist office and saw what they see every day!

Then I wanted to be an architect, until I found out how much math was required. I wanted to enjoy the process of getting there, too. I do not enjoy math.

I'm still not quite sure what I want to be as far as a paying job, but I can tell you that the best job is the one I've got now! I love being a wife and mom!
