Oral-B Vitality Sonic (review)

When the Family Review Network approached me about trying out a new toothbrush, I was curious but a little skeptical.  I've had a powered toothbrush in the past and I was less than impressed with it. The batteries died quickly and the brushing was more like the bristles were trying to invade my gums rather than clean my teeth like they were supposed to. I'm serious!

Well, thank HEAVENS for this brush from Oral-B. It's called the Vitality Sonic and it is fab-u-lous.  I'm risking coming off like a commercial, but my teeth felt very clean...like "fresh from the dentist" clean. (Sorry for that, but I'm being sincere).

Did you read that part about the 2 minute timer? I really like that, although I honestly thought it was a little silly at first. Dentists recommend you brush your teeth for 2 minutes twice a day. How often do I brush for 2 full minutes? Well, before this brush, probably never. Now, I make it a point to do so. The brush pulsates 3 or 4 times to let me know when the time is up and I put it right back on the charger.

Also, this brush makes the process of brushing less messy. With a standard tooth brush, I would get toothpaste all over the place and now I don't have even 1/8 of the mess I had before.
