I Am Thankful

I have to take this quiet time to stop and say "I AM THANKFUL".

This year has been full of ups and downs, new friendships, new challenges, and new hope.

To run off a list of things I'm thankful for would take way too long and my blog would probably quit on me.  So, I'll let you into my "journal" if you will...

Dear God,
Thank you for the simple things you've done for me. Thank you for my husband and my son. Thank you for the beauty you fill my life with and the beauty that is to come. For your faithfulness, provision, and love...I know I don't deserve it...thank you. For the painful moments; the times I couldn't look myself in the eye...thank you. I've learned so much and have much more to learn.
Thank you for the new hope I have found. I'm learning to not give in to situations or circumstances. I'm learning there's always more to it...there's always tomorrow, next week, next month, next year.  I'm learning to trust (even though that is really hard sometimes).
Thanks for everything and then some.

Now, let's eat some turkey...those buggers are beggin' for it.
