Not So - Wordless Wednesday

Take a tour around my Christmas tree and see some of my favorite ornaments.

I have a collection of these Campbell's Kids ornaments from my childhood. My Grandparents bought them for me and always said I looked like a Campbell's Kid. I think it was the curly hair and the puffy cheeks. :)
I hang these on my family's tree every year and think of them.

Here's one from my Paddington Bear collection. My mom and dad collected these for me. Today, Alex has a Paddington Bear of his own and a quilt from when I was a wee one too. :)

My uncle used to make my sister and me an ornament every year. I still have these all over my tree. I just love them. Among the collection is Kermit the Frog and a block that spells the word "Love" as you turn it.

This was bought in Gatlinburg, Tennessee on my honeymoon with the hubster. It reminds me of the wonderful time we spent together in a gorgeous cabin and hiking in the BEAUTIFUL mountains surrounding us.  I heart Tennessee.

This is the last one. This was Alex's ornament from his first Christmas last year.  I just love looking at pictures of him all small and squishy.

This year we've added a log cabin (my favorite home style in the world) and an electric guitar for Alex that looks just like his "dada's".  Alex loves his ornament and I love the memories it represents.

Family Christmas Trees Rock!
Head over HERE for more W.W. :)

  2. My wife can remember practically where we got every one of our ornaments. She's got an iron clad memory when it comes to stuff like that.

  5. I've never seen a Paddington Bear one before. My own favorite ornament is an antique one from the 50's or 60's that has an angel inside.

  10. I love these! My husband and I have a tradition where we pick up an ornament wherever we travel. Then when we decorate the tree at Christmas time we're reminded of our trip. I love log cabins too. We visited his grandparent's cabin last spring and it was beautiful. I've never seen a log cabin ornament though - that would be a good one to have!
