oh. joy.
I try to encourage Alex to play and learn as long as it's safe. I set the ground rule that these DO NOT go in his mouth and he never tried to sneak one by me. We were having fun discovering texture, color, sound, and static together. Then, of course, when Alex got bored with it, he didn't seem to0 eager to want to help clean up. Here's how our conversation went:
Don't you just love toddlers? He cracks me up.
Of course the packing peanuts are WAY more fun than the actual gift inside the box! Looks like he had a good time!
ReplyDeleteThey bring back the joy of simple things that is for sure. jack can walk around a room with a rolling pin for ages rolling everything and thinking it is wonderful fun.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetheart! We had a packing peanut experience too...it was interesting to see Monkey react to the static.
ReplyDeleteI am lovin' the "Elmos is my Homeboy" shirt, thats too funny!

ReplyDeletehehehe I think they figure why clean it up when I'll play with it again later and make a mess of things. They're smart like that. =p
ReplyDeleteAmy,
