Tike Tech ~ CityX3 Swivel Twin Stroller (review)

As a soon-to-be mom of 2, I’ve been searching high and low for the perfect double stroller. I need something that’s going to be just as comfortable for my toddler as it will be for my infant. Well, ladies and gents, I think I’ve found the perfect stroller to suit my needs.

Allow me to introduce you to the CityX3 Swivel Twin Stroller from Tike Tech. This stroller offers comfort for the little ones who ride in it and ease of use along with nice features for the caretakers behind the handle bar.

For this review, I was sent a CityX3 Swivel Twin Stroller in Alpine Red to try out.

Here is how the stroller arrived to our home. Once we got everything out of the plastic wrap, the stroller was extremely easy to assemble. Basically, all you need to do is open the folded stroller and attach the tires. Add air to the tires if needed, and adjust the harness to fit the child who will be riding in it. Then, you’re ready to roll.

Of course, Alex wanted to help us put together the new stroller. :)

IMG_0132Here are some of the features I appreciate.

The stroller has separately reclining seats and separate canopies as well. This will be perfect when I’m out with my little ones and one of them is sleeping or needing to sleep while the other one is awake and ready to go.

When the canopy is fully extended, you can see the moon roof.  I love the cover on it and how easily it rolls up and is buttoned down so you can see the child in the seat below.

When the seat is fully reclined, there’s a second window on the back of the stroller for you to look through to check on your little one.

IMG_0281 Looking more at the back of the stroller, you’ll see a large pocket on the back of each seat. You can adjust the pocket to open it more or close it tight.  Over the pocket, is the one-hand pull clip to recline the seat. It’s so simple to use. To raise the seat back up, simply hold on to the straps and push up on the clip to the height you want the seat at.

IMG_0286This is a side view of the basket underneath the stroller. Look at how huge that is! It’s perfect for carrying the things you can’t hold with your hands like blankets, lunch, shopping bags, and more.

Here are a few things on the front of the stroller I wanted to share with you. Each seat has a padded 5-point harness to ensure the safest ride possible while keeping your little ones comfortable. Also, on the side of each seat, is a mesh pocket that is perfect for holding sippy cups or bottles while you’re on the roll.

Finally, the front, swiveling wheel locks so it will only go straight for running/jogging.  The tires are inflatable which makes the ride so much smoother and pushing it that much easier. Also, there are shocks on the back tires that absorb the impact from bumps and cracks in the pavement. Again, making your little ones more comfortable and keeping you on track at the same time.

Please visit Tike Tech to see more specs and features as well as the other styles of strollers available and their accessories.

And Now, to offer you a better view of the CityX3 Swivel Twin Stroller and its features, I have put together a video review. It’s only 3 minutes long but it will give you an all around view of the stroller. Enjoy!
