1 Chronicles 16:34

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth forever.

**This Thanksgiving day, I have so much to be thankful for. This past year, we saw my son turn 2 years old, my husband reach 5 years of being cancer free, a beautiful baby girl born, friendships flourish, needs met, and more. I could go on and on, honestly. And for every good thing that comes my way, God gets the glory.

So, when I’m surrounded by family this year, I’ll be thanking God for every person I hug and speak to. For health, love, provision, joy, and peace; I’ll be counting my blessings all day long. There is, however, no way to think on and be thankful for each and every blessing in just one day.

I read a marquee in front of a church that I passed the other day. It read, “Turn Thanksgiving into ThanksLIVING”. It’s important to note even the smallest blessings every day and give thanks for them. We should live a thankful life rather than saving all of our thankfulness for one day a year.
