The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust Him with all my heart. He
helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of
thanksgiving. Psalm 28:7
Goodness. If I didn't have ANYone or ANYthing to trust in, to put my hope in, I would be so defeated. I would feel hollow and without any purpose. I would turn in circles looking for the next shoulder to cry on just to watch it walk away as most people do. Cyclical searching, finding, and losing would be it for me.
Of course, I'm just speaking about myself because I know myself so well. I know how I am without faith as well as how I am with it.
I am SO grateful for the unconditional love I find in God. With Him, the cycles are unnecessary and the valleys are doable.
