Ring Pop suckers are a classic. I can remember buying up the watermelon flavor when I was young and I'm not surprised to see them still around today. They're colorful and fun. And let's not forget how tasty they are. Yum!
In my home, candy {for Alex} is a treat. It's not something he gets every day and for that reason, he really enjoys it when he's allowed to have some. The hubster and I are pretty good at looking over the ingredients and nutrition facts so we can be sure he's getting a portion that's appropriate for his age and size.
How do we handle suckers?
Well, we either get him something tiny or look for sugar free items.
The "mom" side of me was really excited when we were offered an opportunity to try out *New* Sugar Free Ring Pop suckers. A Ring Pop is something Alex can't refuse and I'm so excited to have a sugar free version to offer him. The moment of truth was upon us when he wanted to try one. What would he think of a sugar free substitute?
Alex has no clue that I gave him something sugar free. And you know? I think he wouldn't care at this point if I explained that to him. He likes what he likes and this tastes just like the original {according to him}. I haven't tried one of these myself yet. Maybe on my next Mom & Son date we can give each other a ring. ;)
Sugar Free Ring Pop suckers are sold in packs with 3 flavors: Blueberry, Watermelon, and Strawberry.
**This is a buddy picks review. It's gets two thumbs up from Alex.
