In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

Kailani's question is:
Have you ever felt like taking a long blogging break?
My Answer: Not just yet. I'm new to this bloggy-biz but I'm sure that after devoting more time to it, a break may be required every now and then.
My question is:
What one thing made you smile the biggest today?
A long blogging break? I just took a forced break after moving out of my house during renovations. I found myself jotting down notes that I wanted to add to my blog later, but now... well, they're just stale, right?
ReplyDeleteSeeing my son sleep peacefully...on the floor (don't know how he got there and didn't hear him fall off the bed).
ReplyDeleteWe have a war going on at work which involves this horrible scarf I was given as a gift. I snuck it into someone else's purse, and then I took off for home. She just called with vows of revenge. I haven't stopped smiling. :)
ReplyDeleteseeing a pic of my beautiful new niece zoey, and hearing my little munchkin scream momma in the phone to me
ReplyDeleteWatching our 10mon. old "grow right before my very eyes".
ReplyDeleteEating lunch with my 2 and a half year old, and her passing out napkins and pickles.
ReplyDeleteHaving my 5yo daughter read a book to me, and seeing the proud look on her face, Priceless!
First answer- nope, I haven't had the urge for a blogging break, but sometimes my brain won't allow me to come up with something to write! Ack!
ReplyDeleteBiggest smile today came from baby M this morning, I love the way he calls out to me in the morning, like he is surprised to see me!
At Starbucks, while me and my husband were having coffee, my toddler insisted we smell his bare feet repeatedly. Gave me the giggles actually.
ReplyDeleteI don't see myself needing a long blogging break, but I do allow myself to take a day off here and there without feeling guilty. It used to bother me, but if I need it, I take it with no guilt. I smiled biggest today when playing with my 5 month old! Nice question :)
ReplyDeleteSmile? Today? It's still morning! I'm still waking up!
ReplyDeleteOkay...my husband did surprise me this morning with a beautiful video montage he put together as a surprise. And, he made me a cup of hot chocolate to wake up to!
The simple fact that this week is over and my boss will be back Tuesday and I don't have to do her job for a while.
ReplyDeletelooking of pics I took of my 5 week old niece that I took on Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteWe took our boys out for ice cream as a surprise and they were SO happy! :-D
ReplyDeleteWe had to take our 10 day old baby in for her check up. Her big brother (our toddler) was worried about her the whole time. He got his immunizations last week and he didn't want the doctor to touch her.
ReplyDeleteYesterday was actually spent crying a lot as I found out some bad news regarding a friend. (Mom of a 2 & 4 yr old who found out she has cancer in one of her lungs, ventricle to hear heart and in her liver)
ReplyDeleteBut then I spoke we another friend (the 2 don't know each other) and she was telling me things about her sister and had me laughing so hard I was about to pee my pants. All I know is I really needed that.
I actually love blogging, so I'm not quite ready to take a break yet. In fact, I wish I had more time to dedicate to it so I can grow my blog into the empire I want it to be :)
ReplyDeleteAs for what made me smile today: Knowing that the first thing my hubby did when he woke up this morning was call me (he was away for the weekend).

My daughter made a dramatic exhibition to let me know she was thirsty. It was hilarious!
