We were without a blender until the day we moved into our current home and found an older model that was left for us. How many of you would be "so excited" to use a blender that was left behind in a kitchen? I sure wasn't.
That background info should give you a reference point for our newfound, Nutri Ninja Blender Duo with Auto-iQ love.
I knew the moment this arrived at my home that it would be something we would quickly love as a family. I couldn't wait to try the green smoothies I had seen all over social media and get back into the habit of making protein shakes for breakfast. And this duo {one motor, two options for use} is such a perfect fit for making all.the.shakes.
And it came with recipes! This isn't a book that we currently use but I've added it to my bookshelf for reference as we continue to learn and love our Ninja Blender.
The blender has powerful blades that easily chop up ice cubes {or frozen fruit, if that's what you use in your smoothie}. It also has a locking lid that has an easy-pour spout on the side. Easily turn and click the blender on the motor or unlock and lift it away when you're finished.
The motor has what are called Auto-iQ settings. This means you can tell the blender to puree food, make a smoothie, make a shake, and it will begin do just that. It knows how to pulse the food and at which speed until it's built in timer is finished. It's powerful, with 1500 {2HP} watts so you can be confident that it will be able to handle your needs.
The Nurti Ninja is used by screwing the included blade onto one of the 3 cups, whichever size you prefer. Then simply snap the cup onto the top of the motor. Your shake/smoothie will be made right inside the cup in minutes. Then, just switch out the blade for a cup lid and take your drink to go!
It honestly is as easy to use as I described it and we are loving it. I've been able to sneak kale and spinach into drinks for my kiddos and have found myself making healthier choices for breakfast and lunch. I can honestly say I don't use the blender every single day but it is used often and is well loved by all of us here.
The Nutri Ninja/Ninja Blender may seem a bit pricey at $249.99 {retail value} but it is worth every penny. I can tell this will have a long life with us and am quick to recommend it to anyone and everyone I know who wants/needs a blender. :)
Now that you've read all about my beautiful blender, share with me your favorite recipes! I'm always on the look out for new ideas. :)
