Spring Cleaning With The Shark NV752 Rotator Powered Lift-Away Bagless Vacuum {review}

Thanks to the company that sponsored this review. I was not compensated beyond the review items. All opinions are my own. Others may have a different opinion or experience.

 In my home live 3 small kiddos and a dog.  And honestly? I feel like I could just leave this post at that and share pics of our new vacuum and you would get the message.  {LOL}

Seriously, though, dirt.  Dirt gets all over my home, always.  It lives in my rugs.  It hides out in corners.  I gathers in dust.  Y'all.  I fight so hard to keep my home clean some days.  How many of you are sitting at your computer reading this and nodding a "Yes.  Mmmmmhm.  I live that too."?

 OK.  Good.  I'm so glad I'm not alone.  I'm sure this next bit of info will be helpful to you.

We were recently sent the Shark NV752 Rotator Powered Lift-Away Bagless Vacuum to try out.  What does all of that mean?  I had the same question when I was reading the info in my email.  Basically, it means that this is a strong vacuum that can be used as an upright or as a canister vacuum.  Check out the picture below.

Amazing, right?

I'll be honest with you.  When I first opened up the box and saw the parts and pieces, I was intimidated.  But the next feeling I had was determination because I wanted so badly to try this out and see how well it would be able to work in my home.  The good news was that once I read through the instructions, I found that it was actually pretty simple to put the vacuum together.

I tend to use my vacuum as a stand-up so I assembled it that way first.  Below, you'll also see the other accessories that come in the box. There is a Pet Brush {an attachment to help get the pet hair off furniture or out of rugs}, a few wand attachments, and a caddy for the canister should you prefer to use the vacuum that way.

We've used this A LOT in my home since it's arrival. I'm happy to report that the hubster and I are both quite smitten with it.  The Powered Lift Away option is perfect for using on the stairs.  No more breaking my back to hold the weight of the vacuum while trying to get each step. {Phew!}

I'm also a huge fan of the LED lights.  I can actually see how clean my floors are as I go.  And don't try to ask me a tricky question like "What happens when you use the wand, then?".  There is a LED light built into the handle for the wand! I can actually SEE into the tippy top corners of my room or behind furniture as I edge.  It's a super helpful feature.

Have I mentioned yet how powerful this vacuum is? I'm not kidding! The first time I used it on my floor rug, I sent the hubster a text telling him how the vacuum was trying to pull me across the rug. It was hysterical!  Then there was the time I was using the wand to get the dust behind the radiators {we live in a beautifully old home} and I had to call my hubster for help while laughing.  See, what happened was, I was going along the edge of the wall and the power of the vacuum got ahold of a Hot Wheels car that was hiding UNDER the radiator.  It sucked it right up and got stuck so I needed the hubster's help to get it out.  {It was an easy fix, thank goodness.}  The moral of the story is that THIS SHARK VACUUM IS NO JOKE.  It WILL clean up everything in its path.

Awesome tidbit: While it does an awesome job cleaning up your mess, it also locks in 99.99% of the dust and allergens you clean up! This means you only have to clean that mess up once and it won't be getting out until you empty it out.

Should you happen to be wondering, it is also really easy to empty the canister. It lifts away and then it will empty straight out of the bottom. I just walk it to my garbage can, then push the button to open it, and watch it all dump into the garbage bag.  {This may also be helpful to know if you should happen to vacuum up a smaller toy. ;) }

This has been super handy to have and our rugs/floors/corners/stairs have never been so clean. I'm thrilled to have this and I highly recommend it for your home. ESPECIALLY if you have a home with little ones and/or a furry pet. THIS is the vacuum for you!

{The retail value of this vacuum is $429.99}

Now that you've read about my new beauty, what's one thing I've listed that you wish your vacuum did?
