**Thanks to the PR firm, who supplied the item to facilitate this review. I wasn't compensated in any way. In this post I share my thoughts and opinions of the items mentioned. Others may have a different experience or opinion.**

If you can't tell by the name of my blog, I drink coffee...lots of coffee. And? I like to join in on that American attitude of "Who has time to wait?" from time to time...so I decided to fall for a single cup coffee brewer.

But

I recently encountered a coffee brewer that has literally changed everything for me. And I may never go back. {Yes, seriously}

Allow me to introduce you to the iCoffee brewer. This is a product of many years of hard work and fine tuning but it's almost ready to make its way to your local store. Yes, the box says "SteamBrew". If you're like me, I was a little confused by what this meant as well but it's pretty simple.

In my hand, I'm holding the iCoffee filter. This is one that requires no liners. Just wash it out after each use and you're golden. This filter is unique in the way that it has a window on the front of it. This window is specifically there so you can see your coffee being brewed. {Yes, it is interesting to watch}

Next to the filter, you can see a picture of its top. This is a pretty thick, plastic top that seals the coffee into the filter while it's brewing so it doesn't get all over while also keeping the steam in for the brewing process. Just be careful when cleaning. This gets pretty hot.

This photo will give you an idea of how your coffee looks as it's brewing. The water goes through the filter and pushes the coffee grounds around. So instead of hot water shooting straight through your coffee grounds {and missing a good portion of what is in the filter}, this is steaming them and using every bit of the coffee put into the filter to make your cup-o-joe. In the last frame, it shows the coffee crema that is produced from this technology. I have to say, I see that every time I'm brewing coffee. {And I can taste the difference for sure}.

I read in the handbook that the iCoffee can use 15% less coffee grounds and still make an extraordinary pot of coffee to drink & that is definitely true. It's taken some balancing to figure out how much coffee to use, but I think what's best for us is to use about 1.5 to 2 less scoops of coffee. So, if we're making 8 cups, we only need about 6 scoops. Otherwise, the flavor of the coffee comes out way too strong.

Bottom line: I have simply never been able to produce such rich and full bodied coffee like I have with the iCoffee. There's no acidic taste, I don't get any grounds in my mug, and it truly tastes like something I should have to go into a coffee shop to get. And? I use store brand ground coffee for the most part but it certainly doesn't taste like it.

It's not about the brand of coffee purchased. I've learned that it's more to do with how you brew it. And this? Friends, the iCoffee is where it's at. {I'm praying it has a long life on my kitchen counter}

So how can you get your hands on one?

Give Me My iCoffee! {review}

So, it's been a few days since my first Peet's Coffee Post and I wanted to fill you in on what I think about it at second glance.

First, I want to tell you about my experience during the #NationalCoffeeDay and Peet's Coffee twitter party. While I was there, I met many coffee lovers {like myself} and we exchanged thoughts on the way coffee is woven into our day-to-day lives. We also learned more about the Peet's Coffee website and some of us {not me} even won gift cards just for chatting. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the conversation had.

Back to the coffee drinking in my home. I've started enjoying Peet's Coffee every morning and still really like it. And since I knew how I felt about it, I wanted to see what others thought as well. One day, I brewed a cup for the hubster and asked what he thought. His response? "Now that is a good cup of coffee." I also shared some with a family member when she was over. I was quite impressed with how quickly she drank her cup 'o joe and although I didn't ask and she didn't say it, I could see that she really liked it too.

Yes, I'm thinking that Peet's Coffee fits into my every day just right. I'm still loving it and I absolutely prefer it to the other brand I buy from the local grocery store. Don't forget to visit the website to see where you can buy your own and grab your coupon while you're there.

There is no such thing as "too much coffee" in my home. I can't get enough whether it's just a regular coffee, or a gourmet cup 'o joe. If it tastes good, I'm a fan.

It wasn't until I was able to review the Tassimo T20, that I realized that I was missing out on some very good coffee. Quite honestly, owning this makes every big coffee shop unnecessary. Not only can I make the very same drinks as the ones I buy from them, I can do it at a fraction of the price. I'm loving this!

Tassimo sent me a home brewer and 2 packs of  T Discs to give me an idea of how it works. By the way, both flavors of T Discs were delicious. My one and only complaint is with the Iced Coffee. It tastes so good but I drink iced coffee so quickly that I don't really take my time and enjoy it. Yes, my complaint is born of my own poor, coffee drinking habits.

I filled up the water reservoir and cleaned out the machine as the booklet instructed. Then, I was ready to go and eager to make my first cup of Starbucks Coffee.

The T-Disc is easily placed in the machine by putting it in upside down. Then, {and this is the best part} the Tassimo reads the code of the T-Disc and knows how to prepare it and how big or small to make it. Honestly, I've never seen gourmet coffee made easier. I don't need to push anything but the "go" button when the machine gives me the green light. Tassimo prepares my coffee with ease and speed.

Do you see the steamy goodness? Seeing that makes my day every time I see it. Also, I want to point out the stand that the mug is sitting on. I quickly learned that this can be removed  so I can brew my coffee in a taller mug. It can also be placed at two different heights on the Tassimo. One height is for the average mug and the shorter one would be perfect for an espresso glass or small coffee mug. I found it extremely to remove or move around as I tested the machine out.

When the coffee {or beverage of choice} is done brewing, the green light with the plus sign lights up. This means that I can take my mug and/or open up the Tassimo to make a second cup of coffee or add a second T-Disc to my same mug. {Some drinks use 2, separate discs to create one drink}.

And within minutes, I'm enjoying a yummy cup of Starbucks {or one of the many other brands of T-Discs available} coffee. I've found that the discs for this machine are rather reasonable in price and taste amazing. I love that I can wake up and have a macchiato just because I feel like it.

The Bosch Tassimo is definitely worth the purchase. It meets any coffee craving you may have and fits compactly on the counter top. It doesn't get better than that if you ask me. Also, if you buy one, be sure to register it with Bosch to receive your two, free packs of T-Discs. I enjoyed looking over the selection and choosing the 2 I thought I would most enjoy.

BUY IT: You can purchase the Bosch Tassimo T20 for around $130.

**Thanks to Bosch for supplying the complimentary, mentioned items to facilitate this review. I wasn't compensated in any other way for this review. In this post I share my thoughts and opinions of the products being reviewed. Others may have a different experience or opinion.**

So often I find myself shopping for gifts for others or needing to shop for things for my family. One of the first places I always consider shopping at is Kohl's. I find they have something for everyone and every room of the house. They also carry name brands that I respect as being durable and quality-made.

The prices at Kohl's? Well the prices are very reasonable and there's literally always some sort of sale going on in the store. Often, there are coupon discounts available to use on top of in-store discounts. I can't complain about that!

For this gift guide, I was sent something that is very fitting for the title of my blog and for the coffee lovers in my family.
This is the BonJour® Linear 8-Cup French Press Coffee Maker. I've met plenty of people who will only drink their coffee from a French Press. To them, the flavor is richer and they feel it's the best way to drink it.
While I'm not quite that fixed on a French Press due to busyness, I will say that it is awesome to enjoy a cup or 2 if I have the time. Mmmmmmm

Please note, this item is an online exclusive at Kohls.com which means that you won't find it in their stores.

Aside from the coffee's flavor, I love the look of the BonJour Linear 8-Cup French Press Coffee Maker. I first described it as being very "handsome" when I first saw it. Wouldn't you agree? I'm positive that this would look wonderful in a coffee lover's home and I'm sure the gift would be very much appreciated.

Here are some specifics from Kohl's on the French Press:

BonJour® Linear 8-Cup French Press Coffee Maker

Heat-resistant glass carafe keeps your coffee at the ideal temperature.
Details:
Online exclusive

I'm sure all of the coffee drinkers out there are licking their chops just thinking about a cup of coffee made in this French Press. I can't say I blame you and I'd love for you to be able to try it out for yourself.

** Thanks to Green Mountain Coffee for K-Cups to review.**

**This review is based strictly on my experience and opinion. I was not compensated in any way for the review itself or to influence my choice of words. Others may not agree with my opinion.**

Hi there! Coffee lover here! And boy, oh boy, do I have something delicious to share with you.

New to the line of K-Cups from Green Mountain Coffee, Donut House flavors are rich in flavor and have quickly become one of my favorites.

I was sent boxes of Cinnamon Roll and Chocolate Glazed Donut K-Cups to try out with the hubster. I expected them to taste good but I honestly wasn't expecting that they would be as tasty as they are. These are light roast flavors but I should also mention that Donut House, Donut House Extra Bold, and Donut House Decaf are also available in this line.

To be clear, I should mention that I add sweetened cream to my coffee and did not try these flavors on their own. The hubster tried the K-Cups without any cream or sweetener and enjoyed both of them. He agrees that cream adds a little something extra that makes these K-Cups taste even better than drinking them black.

Hands down, the favorite in this house is Chocolate Glazed Donut. I tell you no lies when I say that it literally tasted to me as if I was dipping a donut in my coffee...minus the crumbs. It is sooooooooooo good. When the last K-Cup was enjoyed (this morning), I had to pout.

Don't get me wrong, the Cinnamon Roll K-Cups are extremely tasty. (I'm just a sucker for chocolate.) This is another savory, mouth watering flavor that always begs for seconds. It is absolutely delish. There really is nothing better than when the smell of Cinnamon Roll coffee filling the kitchen in the morning. Yum!

Quite honestly, these new flavors have quickly become a new favorite start of the day for me. I wake up, meander to the kitchen, hit the power button on my Keurig, and pop in a K-Cup. And since I'm not much of a morning person, this coffee helps me wake up with a smile on my face as I thoroughly enjoy every sip.

Are you smelling the sweet smells of Donut House coffee? Want to try some?

Aloha, fellow coffee drinkers! Yes, today is Friday (finally!) and I’m enjoying the nice cool and rainy weather we’ve been having for the past couple of days. LOVE IT!
Naturally, it’s time to kick back and ask an easy question along with Kailani from An Island Life.  Today, my question is:
If you could be any flavor of coffee, which would you be?
I would have to say, after trying Gloria Jean’s Mudslide coffee, THAT is the flavor I would be. It’s yummy and rich but not over powering. MMMM
*Did I mention you can buy this flavor in K-Cups? Check out Shoffee.com for this flavor and more.

The dictionary says a friend is:
1. a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard.
2. a person who gives assistance; patron; supporter

While I appreciate this simple definition, there are more words that need to be said about what a friend is. Friends are there to support you when you need to vent. They hold you when you cry even if they must do so from miles away.
Friends are there when you need them and are thinking of you in between conversations.
Friends come in many forms and many wonderful personalities.
Friends are those you see often and those you only see visiting your blog or in a chat room.
Friends are beautiful and each one is a blessing.

So, I'd like to thank my friends who thought enough of me to send me this.

Isn't that the most beautiful coffee mug you've ever seen?

My OB has instructed that I steer clear of coffee on a daily basis but I'm SO indulging in a yummy cup every now and then.

Thank you girls! Your thoughtfulness has moved me to tears.  ((((((((HUGS)))))))

Oi! I'm ready for today to be over already. I can't believe how EXHAUSTED I am.

Last night, we all turned in a bit early since the hubster had to return to work after having 2 weeks off. Alex went right to sleep and I headed to bed around 9:30. The hubster suddenly became restless and complained that he couldn't sleep. I stayed up until I felt he was almost asleep...

and then...

Alex was standing at the gate in his doorway crying. Well, I was awake already so I went to put him back to bed. I'm pretty sure he had a night terror because he was pretty spooked and didn't want me to leave. I took to sleeping on his floor until he was able to rest...and that never happened. Basically, from 11:30 to 1:30, I was trying to help Alex get to sleep. He would be just about there and then become restless again.

As you can imagine, after 2 hours of staring at him and comforting him when he was upset, I was ready for my "turn" to be over. I felt like I wasn't helping him at all. So, the hubster went to try and calm Alex down next while I tried to sleep.

No luck.

Alex began screaming and I knew I had to go back in there. I sat and rocked Alex for a bit, turned on a symphony CD, and put Alex back in bed. The poor little guy fell asleep while clutching my hand in his.

Finally.

I went straight to bed...at 2:45am.

I'm SO in need of a Grande caramel mocha latte but there's no way I'm leaving my house today. The world should never see me looking like this.

Do you happen to know of a coffee shop that delivers?

There is Simply Not ENOUGH COFFEE!
