Fall is my favorite season and I absolutely love the wardrobe that comes along with the season. I'm not sure what it is, but something about the thought hoodies, jeans, and cozy boots always brings a smile to my face. And since I'm a lover of boots, I have to share with you one of the new styles available from BEARPAW this year. 

Just seeing this box arrive at my house made me all giddy. I had to pull one out and try it on. And as soon as my other foot heals from it's break, these boots will be worn all over, all the time.

Anyway...back to the review...

BEARPAW takes special care to make sure their boots are packaged well. My boots were snug in their box but they weren't flat at all. Also, BEARPAW uses biodegradable bags to wrap the boots in. I think it's wonderful to see a brand that cares about the comfort of their customers and the environment all at the same time. {Visit their website to learn more about their thoughts on sustainability of product and environment.}

Let's take a look at the new, Marissa boot from BEARPAW {in Chocolate}.

Don't they just look so cozy and inviting? They feel even better on.

I also like the rolled down cuff on these. This is part of the boot and doesn't roll up, but I really like this look and think they'd look darling with some leggings or jeggings. Oooh...or even some thick tights with a cute skirt....

These are extremely comfortable. They feel like a warm hug for my feet. These boots come up about mid-calf in height and are made of suede {uppers} and sheepskin/wool {lining}. And since I've worked with BEARPAW in the past, I know that if I care for these properly, they'll last for years and years.

BEARPAW adds a non-slip, rubber sole to their boots but they never forget to include detail even there. The design of leaves and the classic paw are just darling. Just looking at them makes me wish for a light dusting of snow on the ground so I can make some super cute foot prints.

After receiving my boots for review, I went to see the rest of the new items for fall in the BEARPAW Fall 2011 Look Book. I fell in love with two other styles. For myself, I like the Bison

and for my little peanut, I like the Venice boots.

Nomad Footwear is a lovely web-store where I found adorable shoes for both women and girls. For women, they sell everything from casual flats to hells/wedges, to boots and more! For little girls, they sell flats, sandals, and boots. Their inventory is quite large with a number of different styles and colors to choose from. 

If you're anything like me, you'll be browsing for a long while before you decide on one shoe that you like the best. {There are way too many things that I fell in love with.}

Nomad invited me to select the shoe of my choice for review. After clicking around, I found that I favored the Puddles boots over other styles available. I didn't own a pair of rain boots until this review but I always wished I did when I had to run through rain and puddles to get to the car or into a store. 

My first choice of Puddles boots were the Black/White Large Dots. Those were sold out so I decided to go with the Green Flower Power {pictured above}. I just like the "funky" look to them. They're unique, look cute with my rolled up jeans, and get a lot of compliments. *Please note: These boots are water resistant but not waterproof.*

The website recommends buying a size down from your regular size. Since I wear a size 7.5/8, I chose to get a size 7. {I felt a 6 would be too small.} I'm happy with my decision and find that these fit me very comfortably.

Where I live, the Fall and Winter seasons mean the necessity of having a good pair of boots. You never know if it’s going to be warm or cold, wet or dry. You simply get yourself ready for anything when you dress for the day. (Our weather can be quite unpredictable.)

Beyond practicality, boots are worn as part of the season’s fashion trends. Around here, when you wear boots, most people are looking to see what boots you’re wearing and what you’re wearing them with.

For this review, I was sent a pair of 10 inch Eva boots (available in 7 shades) in gray suede. Can I just say…I am loving these boots!

The suede exterior is soft but strong. I know these boots will be able to stand up to the amount of use they’ll get through the cold weather months. (*Make sure you weatherproof your boots with a protective spray to get more life out of them.*)

The interior of the boots is made of a soft and plush sheepskin lining and footbed. What does this do? It offers a dry and very comfortable wear for your foot. The sheepskin regulates the temperature of the boot so that it keeps your foot warm in the cold weather and cool in the warm weather. It also offers plush support for your foot so you can “Live Life Comfortably” as BEARPAW puts it.
