My baby girl has started standing up and taking her first steps recently. I can hardly believe I will have 3, perfectly mobile kiddos soon. {Sounds fun, right?}

Just in time for my little wiggler to become a little wobbler, Huggies and Mom Central Consulting sent me 2 packs of the new Huggies Little Movers Slip On Diapers to try out.

#firstfit

Right away, I changed out the diapers I had in the changing table for these new ones and started using them. I'm learning that I can stop using the changing table for the most part with my smallest kiddo and simply stand her up to change her. It makes changing her diaper so much faster and easier.

#firstfit

Now, these diapers still have that great leak lock protection I've talked about before but they're designed just for those little ones who have started standing and walking. There is no velcro to close up as they all come ready to just slip on and go.

#firstfit

But you can bet that taking these off is just as simple. The sides are easy to undo and the diapers design easily rolls up and the tight-hold velcro keeps it closed for easy disposal. No need to worry about messes or old diapers coming undone!

Here's a commercial to help give you a full picture of these Little Movers Slip On Diapers.

These diapers really do work wonderful and they do stay put. Through ever walk, fall, crawl, stand, sit, and squirm, I don't worry that these might leak because I'm sure they won't.

HUGGIES has done it again, and made a product that makes me want to switch over and use them exclusively. These come with my stamp of approval and recommendation for anyone with little movers in the home.

If you'd like to try them out, let me help you save on your first purchase by offering you a coupon. Just go to the HUGGIES page, click on "Get Coupon", answer a few simple questions and you'll get a coupon for $2 off your purchase!!

Grab your coupon, go buy them, and try them for yourself. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I have something I'd like to admit. I hate paying full price for anything. I would prefer to buy something on sale or with a coupon. Of course, coupons are easier to use because I can decide when I need the discount. Luckily, I've been given an inside track with Scott Brands so I can begin getting instant savings.

Awesome, right?

I just love it when brands make it easy to save money on their products.

Let me share with you how you, too, can get instant savings. Just hop on over to this site  or fill out the form at the bottom of this post. It will only take you a minute and you can start saving immediately with a $1.25 savings. AND you can pick and choose what values work best for you!

 Where will you choose to use your savings?

I love a good, classic story. As a little girl, one of my favorite movies to watch was A Little Princess. It taught me a valuable lesson of making the best of every situation.

Now I have a very similar story that I can share with my little ones in VeggieTale's newest movie, The Penniless Princess. We all sat down to watch it together and enjoyed it from beginning to end.

Here's the movie's synopsis:
Sweet Sara Crewe has everything a little girl could want - a loving family, lots of friends, and a closet full of frilly dresses!  But when life takes a turn and Sara goes from riches to rags, will she realize that her true worth lies not in what she has, but what she has in her heart?  Find out in this inspiring new story from VeggieTales that reminds kids who they are in God's eyes.
Of course, Eliana was all about the princess. I knew she would be but I loved what the movie taught her about being a princess. She learned that if God is her father, she is a princess, regardless of what anyone else may see or tell her about herself.

Alex, too, really enjoyed the movie. That's another thing I appreciate about VeggieTales movies; no matter if it seems that a movie is more geared toward boys or girls, both will enjoy it and take something away from it.

The Penniless Princess keeps every bit of its classic roots in tact while adding in Biblical principles to make it a story to influence the future of the little ones who watch it.

If you happen to be a fan of Silly Songs, I'm sure you're going to love the new one featured in The Penniless Princess. It's called Best Friends Forever {BFF} and features all the fun codes we find ourselves speaking in over text messages. Totally cute!

There's something about the spirit of Rapunzel that I just adore. She's creative, smart, and stronger than she realizes yet adorable and sweet. She's a princess that I love to root for as my children enjoy this movie again and again.

The DVD and Blu-Ray Combo Pack of Tangled came to us recently for a review. I can't decide who likes it more; me or the kids? Eliana is captivated by Rapunzel while Alex loves laughing at Pascal and Maximus. Truly, this movie has a great combination of characters and a beautiful storyline.

My favorite part of the movie is the lantern scene. It's so magical and beautiful. And if I can confess,  it makes me tear up a little to see Rapunzel's reaction to seeing the lanterns for the first time...every time I watch it.

The DVD includes the feature film and a bonus of the original storybook openings. On the Blu-Ray disc, though, is the feature film in Blu-Ray Hi-Def and bonus features of deleted scenes, "Untangled: The Making Of A Fairy Tale", original storybook openings, and more!

This is a great story for the whole family to enjoy time after time. I can definitely recommend this for an Easter basket filler. Although, it may be hard to wait until then to watch it. {just sayin'} It hits store shelves on Tuesday, March 29th and I just know that it's going to sell like crazy.

Just for you, here's a coupon available to use for a limited time. {It expires 4/3/11 so act quickly!}

**This is a Peanut Prefers AND a Buddy Picks Review. {Alex and Eliana both give this 2 thumbs up!}**

**I received a Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack for this review from a PR firm in relation to Disney Productions. Beyond the review item, I received no compensation for this post. This is my opinion and other opinions may vary.

Alex is at the age that he LOVES to do things by himself. He likes to pick these out, put things together, play, and complete a task all on his own. Alex also loves dogs in every shape, size, and color. So, naturally a trip to our local Build A Bear Workshop to make the new Be Mine Dalmatian, was very exciting for him.

We went on Saturday, with our coupon in hand (more on that later) to create a friend for Alex. When he saw the Be Mine Dalmatian, he was very excited to reach in the bin and choose his own to make. He also picked out the Heart Argyle Sweater for his dog to wear. Actually, he chose a dress first that he said his sister would like. I explained that while his idea was very sweet, this dog was just for him. Once he understood that, he chose the sweater. :)

  *There are plenty of sweet clothing items and accessories to deck out your furry friend for Valentine's Day. See the selection here.

I walked with him over to the sounds. He made sure to push every button and listen to every sound. I wanted to get the "record your own" sound but he was sold on the "Buddy 5-in-1" sound as soon as he heard it. In fact, he liked it so well that he named his dog "Buddy".

Our next stop was at the stuffing machine. Here is where Alex got to see his dog come to life. We were greeted by a very friendly associate who showed Alex how to push the pedal to stuff his dog.

He then chose a heart out of the case to place in his dog. Of course, you can't just put it in. You have to warm it up, put it on your nose, turn in a circle, make a wish, and give it a kiss before you put it in. This helps the animal come to life and lets him/her know that he/she is loved. (It really is so sweet to watch all the steps.)

Finally, "Buddy" was finished and we could give him an air bath, make a birth certificate at the computer (Alex loved helping me push the buttons with the shapes on them), and get him ready to go home. Alex proudly carried him through the mall but wanted him out of his box for the ride home.

Now that Alex has his new friend, he can play games with him online and earn points to purchase more things for his dog. I love how this builds on his imaginative play with "Buddy" and gives us time together at the same time.

There really is nothing like taking Alex to Build A Bear. It's such a good time. I'm excited for when Eliana will be old enough to enjoy that with us too.

Oh, yes. I almost forgot to share pictures of adorable Buddy and his handsome sweater. :)

Do you plan on taking a trip to your local Build A Bear Workshop or to the website for some fun shopping? Don't go without this coupon. It will get you a free sound for your new friend. (Valued up to $8) Just click it to enlarge and print!

Beginning tomorrow, Luvs is beginning a “Take A Stand” campaign to encourage moms to share about the areas in life where they have chosen to take a stand whether it’s against high prices or other topics where they’re determined to make a change.

Here’s an area where I would like to take a stand as a mom. I’m very tired of companies who make products that are supposed to be cost efficient for parents of infants/toddlers/preschoolers only to find out (after wasting your money on them) that you’re better off spending more money on the popular brands that overcharge. This goes for baby food, diapers, and even clothing (among other areas). Nope! No more for me!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In celebration of this, you can get a $5 off coupon from Luvs beginning at 12:00pm EST on September 15th. Make sure you get yours early since supplies are limited and they will run out fast!!
While you’re on the website, be sure to check out the Baby Builder feature where you can create a baby that looks like you. This is supposed to be a very fun and cute feature. Also, there are videos for you to watch and an area where you can share your own “Take A Stand” story with other moms.
Clicking the $5 off coupon will take you to the Luvs website where you can find the link to get your coupon. (Remember, they’re not available until 12:00pm EST on 9-15).
